noah centineo & lana condor’s height difference is unreal!!

real talk between the two leads, not just kissing or sexual attraction

realistic high school characters (not overly sexualized, the dirty jokes/behavior of the high school students is realistic, etc.)

the female lead’s relationship with her sisters isn’t sidelined for the sake of romance. and their bond is amazing!!

the male lead doesn’t sacrifice basic human decency to be interesting!!!! 

the soundtrack!!!! perfect

lara jean’s outfits are…..they’re art, okay. art. we stan one (1) fashion icon. 

lara jean’s korean identity isn’t sidelined but it doesn’t define her either. she is a rare character who doesn’t feel like a caricature of asianness, or a one-dimensional person. she’s a real human being & it’s amazing (props to jenny han, of course, for creating an asian role model in a teen romance novel)
