Life is not always good. Which is why music exists. Why I believe God exists. And why thereās always a pint of coconut milk ice cream in my freezer.

how will Elton John fix this
the first time i saw this post, i had no idea it was referring to the youngblood chronicles. i just didnāt make the connection in my head. and despite that, i would have kept on reblogging this had i never figured out that this was a reference to fall out boy, and you know why? i just saw it and said, yeah, thereās some messed up stuff in this world. and thereās elton john, and somehow, in some way, heās going to have to save the day. and i didnāt need any context, i didnāt need any reason, i just felt this sense of overwhelming security knowing that elton john is out there, and heāsĀ trying,Ā and one day everything might be okay. itās a beautiful feeling to say, yeah, you know what, the economy sucks, my futureās not so bright, schoolās rough, itās all tough, but then theres elton john and this stuff isnāt gonna faze him, yāknow? hes just gonna keep on keepin on, making music, being elton john, and despite our doubts, despite everybody saying, yeah, is elton john gonna be able to fix this, this time, he is, he really is, because hes always gonna be there to save the day, to save rock and roll, and man, i just- that just means a lot to me. knowing elton johnās out there. just, thanks for this post. it really meant a lot.
