Life is not always good. Which is why music exists. Why I believe God exists. And why there’s always a pint of coconut milk ice cream in my freezer.

Some legends untold Some turn to dust or to gold But you will remember me, remember me for centuries
We'll go down in history.

how will Elton John fix this
the first time i saw this post, i had no idea it was referring to the youngblood chronicles. i just didn’t make the connection in my head. and despite that, i would have kept on reblogging this had i never figured out that this was a reference to fall out boy, and you know why? i just saw it and said, yeah, there’s some messed up stuff in this world. and there’s elton john, and somehow, in some way, he’s going to have to save the day. and i didn’t need any context, i didn’t need any reason, i just felt this sense of overwhelming security knowing that elton john is out there, and he’s trying, and one day everything might be okay. it’s a beautiful feeling to say, yeah, you know what, the economy sucks, my future’s not so bright, school’s rough, it’s all tough, but then theres elton john and this stuff isn’t gonna faze him, y’know? hes just gonna keep on keepin on, making music, being elton john, and despite our doubts, despite everybody saying, yeah, is elton john gonna be able to fix this, this time, he is, he really is, because hes always gonna be there to save the day, to save rock and roll, and man, i just- that just means a lot to me. knowing elton john’s out there. just, thanks for this post. it really meant a lot.
