I just handed in my most recent and last teacher marked assignment for this year just got to smash the final examiner marked assignment to wrap up
Year 3/6 level 2 part 1 of my BA in business and management.
I have since graduated with a 2:1 with hons. Still feels weird not needing to sit at my desk or the table writing into the early hours as they were when i did my best work.
Im proud that i did it. Now Iâm learning to drive.

So my husband who is disabled has started doing a podcast related to his disability to help others and spread information as the diagnosis is becoming more common but its still not well known and as its a neurological condition it comes with stigmas and misinformation.

Why keep reading is important?
This was a screen recording of a story on my dashboard. It has been sped up. The original version was 27 seconds long. This is annoying. This is why people skip over stories. For the love of all that is pure and holy and peopleâs sanity use keep reading. I didnât want to read this story because it is a trope I dont like. I am of the philosophy of if you dont like it skip over it. I cant just skip over this. I shouldnât have to scroll for 30 seconds to get past a story.Â

I am supposed to be doing my course work for university but this happened instead.
Im thinking of writing a childrens book
I have an idea and its probably my first original idea which doesnt rotate around another established story/character

Day 2 lush test-
Post mask and and full routine and i feel that not only is my skin brighter already but my red skin is alot lighter.
My skin feels softer to the touch and the mask was fun to put on, the smell was amazing and the mint even had my face tingling slightly.
So far so good

So before and after for day 1.
I have not used the face mask yet. But the other three products have been very easy to use. No splashing water or wet cloths so extra bonus there as I have my daughter so faffing around with cloths and getting my hair and top wet is pain and on a work day will add on time I dont have to spare. Just a little of the cleanser on a cotton wool pad (not synthetic! 100% cotton) and a spritz of the toner on another cotton pad no fuss and no muss.
The products smell amazing and there is an obvious difference as my skin looks brighter and fresher.
I will be testing the mask soon (i love the minty scent it really is fresh) so will follow up with that
Lush product test
For the duration of september I am doing a little product test to see the difference between using lush products and the cleansing products i used previously. Its my own little experiment this is not an ad or a cry for spon (although I wouldnât say no to trying new products)
I am using 9-5 as my cleanser tea tree water as my toner and enzymion as my moisturiser and as a special treat I am using mask of magnaminty as an occasional face mask/ scrub.

I think sometimes I got lucky in the love lottery.
We donât have money or live anywhere exotic. We canât afford holidays and don't currently drive. We don't own a house we canât buy everything we want or need sometimes and we have to save to do anything big and special. But what we have is each other.
Now recently I have read a few blogs and seen people complain about their other halves. And after seeing how âbadâ they feel with their other halves.
For example regarding pregnancy Jake was in it from the get-go. We discussed coming off the pill and told me not to worry too much and supported me taking ovulation tests. I can remember taking my final pregnancy test. We had agreed to wait until Monday as the previous month had been a very emotional issue (too many pregnancy tests for the 5 days late) but as I was excited and had 0 ability to wait for those 24hrs I told myself if it was negative I would just buy a replacement test and pretend that I hadnât taken the test yet. But I took the test and waited. (Obviously, it was positive) I shouted Jake upstairs and instead of playing it cool as I had rehearsed in my mind I shoved the pregnancy test at him apologised for taking the test and with happy tears in my eyes I jumped up and down and hugged him tightly. We were both ecstatic we were pregnant.
During my pregnancy Jake helped me with food as my morning sickness in the first few weeks i could barely eat anything that wasnât potatoes and I discovered that mashed potato is a weird texture when being regurgitated. And he generally supported me. Once week 16 hit (i mean bang on 16 weeks i could feel my little butterfly fluttering) he started playing music to get her wriggling and kicking even though he couldnt feel it himself (she did always kick outwards which was nice for us both) and the playing of music to bump continued until she arrived and he now plays music for her trying different songs with her for her reaction and also playing some songs she heard frequently in utero to see if she remembers them. We have both agreed that in a few years we want to look at expanding the family again.
I really have won the âhusband lotteryâ as not only do we both have similar interests such as music and sports (and we both loath soaps). we are both the support for each other with our mental health. We give and work well together as a unit.
We often discuss peopleâs relationships that they broadcast ... such as when they complain that the other half is playing fifa or cod on the console or wants to watch football instead of spending time with me but he has to watch all these reality shows and soaps with me because thats what I want to do. And lets not forget the complaining about football being on terrestrial tv (either bbc or itv) because who wants to watch football (hint millions as football is a popular sport worldwide with all types of people)
Our usual back and forth is why do they complain that they won't spend time together if it's doing something he likes just because she hasnât thought about trying to get involved without throwing a massive wobbly online. Back when I had time to play video games I played FIFA with him and played cod online. Now I tend to nudge him to play games (I'm a back seat gamer sometimes) as I enjoy watching him play whilst also being an extra pair of eyes and a puzzle solver. I never understand why these people quickly dismiss their partners' interests but then flip out when they want to do what they like. âPick up a controller and get involvedâ I think sometimes that I might be a broken girl as I don't go for the usual girly stuff (i have more computer games than cosmetics and I can quote the likes of the thick of it, it crowd, Blackadder and black books in general conversation) which might be why we fit so well together.
My only issue now is that because I know how lucky I am I dont know if it is bragging as we dont have the ânormalâ problems that couples fight or whine on facebook about. As I feel like because Im saying well we dont have that problem that somehow that makes me better in someway (it doesnât and I never put it forward as that but Im neurotic so I worry how what I say can be taken.) yes we dont have the usual problems but we do have other difficulties that some other people might not have. So really its a case of the fine balance.
Fat tax?
Now im chiming in on this one as its something close to me. I am not skinny and i am currently the uk average clothing size for females (16)
That aside there is an ongoing argument on the internet that âus fattiesâ should pay more for clothes as it costs more to make because there is more material being used to make a size 18 than a size 8. Whilst that cannot be denied the fact of the matter is that these clothes are either made by poor labourers or machines not hand cut and stitched. It was also pointed out that all âlargerâ clothes should be more expensive to make fat people stop being fat. To that I say FUCK YOU! Not for commenting on something that you know nothing about with regards to peoples health ang well-being but as someone who has recently been pregnant and was refusing to pay hand over fist for clothes because they have the word maternity in the title and a bit of extra give!
But I have another argument to these people who think that a bigger size means that it should cost more. By the logic you are using the shorter and smaller the clothing the cheaper it should be. So a pair of shorts should cost less than a pair of trousers, g strings and thongs should be the cheapest underwear, short skirts should cost less than a long one and a skirt should cost less than a dress. Sandles should cost less than shoes, knee high boots should be more expensive than ankle boots and trainers should be somewhere in the middle. Jumpers should be cheaper than cardigans and hoodies.
How often do clothes follow this? For this example all the items are womens size 12 and shoe size 5 (uk sizes) so the cost of making a larger size is negated. I have seen denim shorts more expensive than jeans, jackets that cost more than a coat, skirts that are more expensive than dresses and sandles that cost more than trainers and trainers that cost more than boots. So if the items donât follow the logical pricing that you lay out by more fabric = high price than why should it be that way for sizing?
There is also room to argue the discrepancys between stores and brands with regards to sizes as in one shop i am a 14 in another i am a 16 and a third im an 18. How is it okay to put a taxation on sizes when in one shop you are a ânormalâ size and in another you are âtoo largeâ so therefore should pay more. This may be a reason why some shops are doing so well whilst others are losing business. As i would rather spend my limited finances on more clothes than fewer items where i am taxed because of irregular sizing and being seen as âa fattie who needs to lose weightâ or someone who is not âworthyâ of wearing their clothes.
