I HAVE WAITED ALL YEAR TO POST THIS

“A bright young reporter with a point of view”
And it’s just him
If you have achieved something, please remember to observe a mandatory period of basking in the warm glow of your achievement like a lizard on a stone, lest you teach your brain that effort is futile, actually, because it didn't get to enjoy its happy chemicals, so, naturally, nothing good ever comes of trying. (And no, avoiding punishment is not a reward!)
I recommend, like, 5% of basking time in relation to whatever time you invested into achieving the thing minimum. And if you can't make your own bask, friend-brought is fine (= tell your friends!).
it's a shame you can't Cool, Silent, and Mysterious your way to being very close to people. we are unfortunately going to have to embarrass ourselves for this
i think what most people fail to understand is that curating your online experience doesn't just mean blocking and filtering the things you don't like or don't want to see but that it also (and maybe more importantly) means engaging with the things you do like and want to see. if someone creates something that makes your experience better, let them know! tell them! reblog their things! you get to see/share more of what you like and they get to know that someone out there appreciates their work it's a win-win situation for everyone involved

idk I just personally think that getting chills from music is the best part of being alive. like when a song is so good you can feel it in your whole body. that's why I'm here.
theres actually a term for this in academia, we call it affective overdrive, basically when you have a rush of emotion so intense from a song or piece of art more generally it physically affects you and you can get chills, the chills themselves are called frissons

the creation..............of adam.............................
[id: A trans man lifting his shirt above his head, displaying his chest. His chest is tattooed with the hands of God and Adam from the Michaelangelo painting "The Creation of Adam", which reach out to each other but don't quite touch. The tattoo covers the faint scar from the man's top surgery. end id.]
