Does anyone remember KOYONPLETE‘s The Cradle of Thorns ~My Brother Belongs to Me~ (or, in Japanese: 茨の揺り籠」 〜 弟は僕だけのもの〜)?
The game was released back in 2014. I played it shortly after it came out, actually, and I was never quite able to forget it. Probably because of the art style, maybe because of the story (which was… mediocre but strangly interesting). Whatever it was, I felt like playing it again recently.
However, I found out that the developers just vanished and with them their games and servers. KOYONPLETE was just gone, without any warning. The Cradle of Thorns wasn’t even on the playstore anymore and the only suriving footage that I could find online was this video of someone recording the first chapter.
I almost gave up on ever seeing anything about the game ever again. I wasn’t the only one searching for it, judging from the comments on that video.
So why am I making this post? A trip down memory lane? Yes and no. I don’t have any followers on here but I’m hoping my post will somehow end up in some google results. Maybe I can help someone else out.
