Been thinking a lot about the anon who mentioned the kenochoric identity (a neogender identity centering on kenopsia, which is something I’ve been deeply connected to for years) and lowkey… I forget sometimes that I can just do that, y’know. I was like “well that sounds exactly like me but I’m also 100% a binary trans man so maybe I can’t use that label” but what kinda trans joy blog would I be running if I questioned multi-label identities. Like kenochoric trans man can just be me, I can just do that and I don’t need to ask permission or anything. I didn’t even know until right now that I could do that. Life is amazing. Holy shit.
This is trans joy!
i cant believe i have to say this, but if you're perisex, you CANT reclaim baeddel and hermaphrodite. those are intersexist slurs. yes this includes perisex trans women — dont fucking say them. they're not for you. oh my fucking god. i wish perisex people would shut up for once. sit down and listen to us. please.
perisex trans people dont quite understand how hard it is to be intersex and nonbinary and/or trans in this community nor do they have respect for our unique gender experiences and it shows.
Here's the link to help out.
Hi I'm Chantal. I'm an artist from NYC and for the past 12 years I have been in a … Chantal Imerti needs your support for Help Chantal Esc
you're not an ally to intersex people if you only mention their existence when defending being transgender and ignore them in any other conversation.
you're not an ally to intersex people if you don't support "afab" intersex people considering themselves trans women and/or cis men.
you're not an ally to intersex people if you don't support "amab" intersex people considering themselves trans men and/or cis women.
you're not an ally to intersex people if you don't support intersex people refusing to identify as trans or cis.
you're not an ally to intersex people if you don't support intersex people identifying as both trans and cis for the same gender.
you're not an ally to intersex people if you use shi/hir pronouns, the h slur, the fu slur, etc while being perisex.
you're not an ally to intersex people if you are unable to listen to us without mentioning your kinks.
you're not an ally to intersex people if you aren't willing to learn about intersex issues.
op disabled reblogs but I think the point still stands
reminder that the books themselves also suck ass actually. there's an entire plotline endorsing slavery. the one character who advocates to end slavery is bullied and made fun of. the one slave who doesnt like being enslaved is bullied and treated as an outcast. the bankers are the picture of racist stereotypes of jewish people. the one asian character is named fckn Cho Chang. the worldbuilding SUCKS. fuck harry potter and fuck rowling. stop giving her your money.
get to know my ocs aesthetics!
I love when people try to gotcha me on my stance that all sports should be gender integrated with "even American football???" because I can instantly come back with "oh lmao, no, I don't think ANYONE should play American football at all, it's way too dangerous" like nice try but I know no amount of testosterone is going to protect you from the profound, life ruining health issues caused by getting repeated severe concussions over the course of several years. No one should play this sport.
Please get off my page if your a white woman, queer and\or disabled person who genuinely does not believe your whiteness gives you privilege. If you equate addressing racism and calling out the massive imbalance and the mistreatment of poc in communities as bigotry, harssment or "oppression olympics" i want you nowhere near my page. Please learn Intersectionality and stop acting like your marginalized identities absolve you of wrong doing, ability to perpetuate bigotry and your whiteness. Jesus christ. And yall wonder why we don't feel safe or comfortable in "progressive" spaces.
one time i went to the doctor and said "i think i have some sort of damage in my neck from hurting it on a trampoline as a teen" and the doctor said "no you don't." and i said, "well, the day after i hurt my neck, my bioparents tried to make me climb a mountain because they didn't believe i was hurt, and just a few minutes up the mountain i sat down on the side of the trail because i was in so much pain i couldn't keep walking, and they just left me there, and eventually i forced myself to climb the rest of the mountain because i was terrified they were going to legitimately abandon me on the side of the mountain forever. and i'm here today because it just recently occurred to me that when most people say 'i have a crick in my neck' they mean 'i slept funny and now i'm a little sore' and not 'i'm functionally bedbound at the moment due to severe neck pain'." and the doctor said "you have permanent nerve damage in your neck."
So I follow N. D. Stevenson (comics writer and animator, most famous for Nimona and She-Ra and the Princesses of Power) and his husband Lee Ostertag (also a comics writer and animator) on Instagram. When I started following them, they were both publicly presenting as women, and then a few years ago N. D. came out as transmasc nonbinary, and then earlier this year Lee also came out as transmasc. Anyway this is all setup to say that Lee had the chance to make the funniest post of all time and he took it:
Absolutely iconic.
I want to throw in that part of the context behind this meme was N.D. talking about how he sometimes gets hatemail for marrying a man as a former lesbian, and how many people seem to think he divorced his wife.
I have not managed to find anyone who thinks that in the wild, but it is so damn funny.

Genuinely why do perisex people defend the term ‘ micropenis ’ as a valid insult. Like — that is a genuine medical term used for intersex folk ( obviously, not all variants are the same, but you get what I mean )
“ BUT THIS IS ABOUT MEN! ” i am going to hold you by the hand when I say this… men can be intersex. your hate for men in general is an issue you need to unpack.
*Psst, cismen can also have micropenises - it isn’t just intersex people*
I cannot believe degendering pregnancy is a controversial topic. idk how it is in the west, but when I went to a doctor, told her that I'm pregnant and I needed to do blood tests and many other things she laughed at me and said smth like: "you a 180cm grownass man pregnant??? honey, pregnancy is for those who are women. if you're a mentally ill trans then you can visit a psychologist instead", and I told her that I'm intersex but she was like "not pregnant, *h slurs* are sterile and can't get pregnant, especially if they're a man like you are." I saw 6 different doctors and I was mocked by all of them, until my partner somehow made one of them listen, and she saw that I really was pregnant and being intersex didn't make me "sterile." if pregnancy was degendered and was replaced with neutral language I'd have easier time accessing healthcare. and now that I did, the doctors are still confused and they're like "yeahhh, they never taught us how to treat defects like you so let us treat you like we would treat *normal pregnancy.*" first of all why are you calling a human being a defect, and secondly, do you treat EVERY pregnant woman you see the same way? there are different kinds of pregnancies. not every pregnancy is the same. different people have different complications and needs. why do you treat intersex pregnancy as something impossible that cannot be helped and monitored. especially for pregnant intersex men (or phenotypical "man", idk how to say it). the medical system makes you feel horrible for being intersex and pregnant intersex man. they'll either deny your healthcare or they'll abuse you and force you into womanhood even when you never lived it.
I wasn't originally planning to add anything, but I need to add more
I'm his partner. I'm also intersex. and my face looks "too feminine", so let me tell you, the medical system doesn't take any of us seriously. while he was being abused for being a pregnant man and they called him a "mentally ill trans", I was getting laughed at for having long hair and for "not looking manly enough." we had doctors telling us to abort the fetus because we would fail being parents. they said that the child needs traditional mother and father, not "mentally ill defected anomaly parents who will make the child ashamed of being born." doctors did everything to make us feel awful about ourselves, however we know how bad intersexism, transphobia and queerphobic in general is in our country and we decided to ignore them. we're getting a lot of hate from people, mainly medical system and they're trying to "fix" us so that the child can have traditional mother and father. Gatsi would become a mother and woman, and I'd be a father and a man. people find it too hard to be normal about male pregnancy, and it's even worse if you're intersex because they'll tell you to abort your baby to your face because "you're a defect who will birth a defected child like you." (and there's additional transphobia because they immediately assume you that you're a "mentally ill trans", and while we both identify as agender it's still sickening how they treat him)
If you think someones racism coming to light is the result of a psyop or some secret plan to ruin said person im ngl i think your just racist
