         “ the world can’t be all that bad,” he explains, “i mean look at history, sure there are wars, death and other horrible things but there’s one thing that seems prevail throughout all of those things: love. Wars have been started over passion and love, people have gotten married in the name of love and if you ask certain people they’ll say that the person they love, or loved, saved them from something they could never go back from. ”

      “ we’ve got music, dancing, love, video games and literally everything. the world is full of some pretty terrible people but even the worst people have someone they’ll die for. the world ... it’s not a bad place. A tough place occasionally but never bad. No place is bad. No one is bad. We’re all just misunderstood. ”

              tate pauses and looks around. “ it’s all just a matter of perspective, i guess. don’t take my word for gospel. ”

            Suddenly, Batman regrets this decisions. He always forgot that people at the school were like this: sick minded, perverted, whatever words he could think of. What ever happened to that child like innocence that he happened to keep despite his lack of one? 

      “— I’d like to keep all of them alive,” he says with a shrug, “but in a situation where it wasn’t possible, fine, I’ll choose.” 

       “ — Crystals’s a great girl. I love her and all but I don’t know her as well as the other two so I’d probably have to kill her. Sorry Crystal!” The boy cringes as though he expects a slap. 

                     & now down to the hard part.

“I love both those girls. They’re the best girls in the school and I don’t think I could just ... fuck “ — he cringes at the use of that word, “—one of them. I’m not really a one night stand kind of a guy. Or a guy who sleeps with anyone yet. It’s complicated with Mia & I and with Terri things are little more relaxed. I can’t really see Mia committing anytime soon and I’m pretty sure Josh could kill me if I married his sister so I’d probably fu— sleep with Mia and marry Terri.” 

Tate pauses thinking over his choices. “Marrying Terri wouldn’t be that bad, I mean, she basically mums me already so it wouldn’t be that different from now.”
