Boys day out! Genos has downloaded all sales information in gratitude for his teacher! :)

“Sensei. I know that my staying has brought you much trouble, and I greatly appreciate that you allow me to live under your roof and learn from your ways. I have learned many things since coming here, so as a token of my appreciation-- ”

“Hey Genos, you don’t have to--”

“I have browsed online and compiled a database of all the sales and discounts around the area, downloaded the times they are available, and have timetabled a route allowing us to reach every single one by the end of the day.”

“So... when do we begin?”

My ongoing wish is for Saitama to save enough money to get an extra futon for him and another extra futon for Genos so they can double stack the ones they already have. ///

That way when they get home tired, they can just kinda collapse onto the sheets together instead of doing the same on just one futon and essentially just hitting the floor ;w; /////////

Imagine, if…

Genos has the funds, and doesn’t personally feel uncomfortable at night. However, learning and hearing Saitama muse about perhaps getting more than one futon, he really wants to make Saitama happy, and rushes to find an open shop but they are all closed. Frantic, he rushes home before his teacher and secretly moves his own futon on top of Saitama’s.

He then rushes back to Saitama’s side, (“Hey Genos! Where you been? That last monster was kinda disappointing. You’d have taken care of him no problem.” “Sorry Sensei… I was trying to find the bathroom. To rinse my hands off.” “… Genos, you okay?” Heat and fumes are coming off Genos, who is just excited at the prospect of Sensei being happy.)

They get home and Saitama collapses into the futon with a “hua~”, pleasantly surprised by more softness and comfort than usual. He doesn’t notice anything off until beside him he hears a crash, and Genos is in rest-mode on the hard wooden floor.

Saitama feels sweat beading down his forehead. This kind of guy…

But Genos had fallen asleep with a soft smile on his face, because Saitama looked comfortable and happy.

Needless to say, Saitama doesn’t let this float and in the middle of the night raises Genos’ whole body with one arm, and pulls his futon back under him. In the morning he lectures Genos about being silly (“you could dent the floor by falling!”), not wasting money, and braving the cold hard one-futon floors- perhaps just see it as training! (Until Saitama himself gets the funds for an extra futon, of course. He doesn’t want Genos to go wasting money on him… which given the opportunity, he would go bankrupt to make Sensei happy.)
