The new rudinns are hanafuda cards

While talking to myself I was trying to figure out what the new rudinn enemies are supposed to be but thats when it hit me

With this chapter having a Japanese theme I remembered these types of playing cards called hanafuda cards, I believe these are what the new rudinns are as one they contain imagery of flowers trees and leafs plant which are all plants and as we all know chapter 5 is plant themed.

As well as that with the festival potentially being Japanese themed it's definitely possible someone like asgore probably picked up a pack being sold during it

Finally obviously the enemy is designed like a rudinn who we already know is a diamond playing card so for a new enemy to be based on rudinn suggests there also a type of card

2 more weeks until I finally stop beefing with the shadow cat forever, final thoughts.

Kinda sucks cause I don't actually have a problem with canon Friend, it's a genuinely compelling mystery of what the hell is up with that thing, if it even is anything.

My beef comes from the fanon insistence that it's the EVIL reason behind every mystery in the game and replacing every other characters' agency and relevance in the story in an "aliens built the pyramids" kinda way.

Tho I'm not sure if I'll react well if it does appear in CH5 either after all that...

...

Anyway the one thing I'll still never understand why is, the tail.

We've never seen it with a tail firstly, but also, why specifically the unused Jevil prophecy one?? Cause "that cat obviously has to be evil and from hell"???

The closest we've seen Friend associated with any sort of tail is, Pluey.

Not a bunch of circles with a triangle, but a tail-maw.

The holy grail for big theory heads, the Temmie tweet of "a cat's tail is a snake in disguise", something something cramming Jockington's involvement and weird speech in all this.

I have never seen any Friend depictions with a tail-maw despite this being basically served on a silver platter OTL

Tho it'd be funny if in CH5 Pluey goes "actually it's trendy to wear chains with triangles as a tail so I'm replacing my current tail for this from now on"

As for theories, I'm not really invested in any that would take away any characters' agency.

I think my crack theory warmed up to me, and until CH5 debunks it I'm going to believe that Friend is actually what hatched from Noelle's glitched pipis, hence why is has Spamton's eyes and Tenna's smile, and why it's such a haunting presence in anything related to them or to catpetterz, manifested from Noelle already being scared of everything.

Either that or the other timeloop theory, with how Friend is emphasized as an amalgamation of many different fears, and Eram uses them to taunt Kris about what's to come.

I wanted to update Zard's profile to emphasize his titan traits I gave him since CH3+4, but what if after CH5 comes out something new gets revealed about the titans that makes it outdated? And only have 1 week to change it?

I wanted this year to hopefully have Velvet be accompanied by more spamtenna fankids, but what if everyone's moved on from that by then like it happened with CH2 stuff? With how recently shiny new CH5 stuff will be?

There's only 1 week to change anything before the fight, and from past experience people only look at profiles before July and any updates after get dismissed,,,

getting scambot messages from random accounts that clearly used to be normal active blogs is sad enough. you know that there used to be a real person on that blog until they were tricked into handing their password to the digital fae.

but it's an entirely new level of tragic when somebody you've actually spoken to gets turned into a bot account. it's like peeking at a zombie apocalypse through the window and realizing one of the shambling corpses was your friend.

and then the zombie catches sight of you, lurches up to your window, and shouts through the glass that they accidentally reported your account to tumblr and you'll be deactivated unless you click this link.

RIP to the blog that used to DM me to tell me they liked my new chapters. Their last known words spoken before being turned, 17 hours ago: "Ggs!" They were praising someone's deadlift.

the message they tried to get me with is probably the same message that got them, so for anybody who hasn't already been warned about the signs of a zombie account:

if you get something like this ↑ they're gonna follow up by instructing you to contact tumblr support on discord and give you contact info; or they're gonna link a website that looks sort of like tumblr support and say you have to email them; or any variety of "you must now contact tumblr, here is how you contact tumblr."

whatever they send you, it Does Not lead to tumblr. it leads to the master zombie that bit them and inducted them into the ranks of the undead, and will bite you the second they have your email and password. i might be confusing zombies and vampires. anyway,

it's easier to fall for these messages because the blog doesn't LOOK like a bot blog, because it ISN'T a bot blog. it's a normal person's blog that got accessed by a bot, meaning the blog's content CLEARLY looks like a real active user when you click on it. and yes—it might even be a blog you already know. sometimes bots like this go down a blog's DMs or reblogs and message people they've previously interacted with.
