Hi hi visitors and welcome to my blog. This realm primarily exists for my entertainment, and maybe for me to bare my soul to the world in microdoses, but if you’re here you’re welcome to look.

I’m a proud trans woman who’s been trying out many names and is still generally puzzling together her identity (if i’m always acting does a ‘real me’ even exist?) which is interestingly entertaining. Take my hand and let’s get lost soul searching together.

Don’t expect much but reblogs! When it comes to reblogging I fluctuate between the silly and sentimental and serious, there’s not much pattern to it. Multifandom stuff basically. And queues, too much queuing here.

I gobble up fandom analysis with every core of my being. Character study is the best, parallels are the best, themes are the best! Thank you writers forever and ever.

Visual novels are the height of my obsession. I’m also in love with horror and surrealism to a similar degree, as well as toxic yuri and evil women. I cannot forget the wonders of toxic yuri and evil women.

“No one is coming to save you.” I disagree ! I believe many people made up of many small moments come to save pieces of you , even if just briefly. The mentor who believed in you . The friend who said they’re proud of you. The family member that makes you laugh . The random person who held the door for you out of nothing but kindness. The teacher who took extra time to help you understand. The person who smiled at you when you walked into a store. The little kid who looks up to you. The person who randomly complimented you. Being “saved” isn’t about being whisked away and all your hardships gone, it’s about the people and things that remind you life is not all hardships, it is kindness, love, gentleness, softness, care, thoughtfulness. It is many moments made up of your lifetime that keeps you going and showing you the world is still beautiful, and will always be. Despite.

i think avoidance is such a little-recognized ocd compulsion. all the time i talk to people with ocd who are like "i was always having intrusive thoughts about using kitchen knives and harming myself or others but i'm okay now because i just stopped using knives ever 👍 so i'm good now"

and i'm like unfortunately i have bad news.

if you don't know why this doesn't work, the issue is that ocd never stops when you implement a compulsion. it evolves. today you've "solved" it by never using a knife again (and losing access to an important cooking tool, thus limiting an aspect of your life) but in a few months or a year it'll be that forks are dangerous too. and hey, isn't it risky to use the stove? avoidance will even begin to manifest in places you might not recognize.

the point is that OCD compulsions are never solutions, they're actually the problems. the intrusive thoughts SEEM like the problem and the compulsions FEEL like the solution. and that's how it getsya.

it's weird how there's this perception of OCD as the "cleanliness" disorder where people still consider OCD behaviors to be like, rooted in some rational and correct (but overshot) trajectory toward objectively sanitary conditions, if that makes any sense? like there was a reddit post about somebody's roommate who had an extremely biohazardous room and a few commenters mentioned that OCD might be a factor based on her other behaviors, and a bunch of non-OCD-havers were like "what??? but it's objectively not clean??? there's so much bacteria in there???"

like idk how to tell you that the disorder gives you disordered thinking. disordered thinking is not rational. and there are absolutely things that trigger 1 person with OCD but do not matter to another, because your OCD can latch on to literally anything.
