Looking back on the night with a sober mind, he cringed at begging you to stay with him. What would he even have done with you? He wasn't sure. But he enjoyed replaying the contact he had managed to get. He could finally picture your face, the feel of your skin, the sweet sound of your voice. Chasing after you like a prowling fox would a terrified little bunny. You began showing up in his dreams, sometimes he would be chasing you, growling and pouncing on top of you as you cried out. Sometimes he'd dream of going to school with you and being your classmate. Staring at the back of your head in class, eating lunch across from you, chasing you around at break, walking you home. Maybe he'd lead you into a darker part of town and corner you. Even if he was your age he'd still be bigger than you, capable of overpowering you. But he'd have to stuff those fantasies down and get on with his work.
The city was always bright and loud at night. You hated it. You preferred the calm and the quiet, small breezes and the little birds chirping. Not the stumbling drunks, loud music, and bright piercing lights. You wondered if Shigaraki also hated this. If he ever had a dream of a nice home in the countryside. Probably not- don't be stupid. Villains don't exactly settle down or retire, do they? You shook your head, you knew it was ridiculous to ever dream of domestic life with him.
as you neared the bar, you realised there was something unusual, was it.. fire? As you ran closer things became more clear, a large swarm of police had surrounded it and Endeavours huge figure stood amongst them. The wall to the bar had been completely smashed through.
"What's happening!?" you barged through a couple policemen to try and look at the scene. Endeavour grimaced down at you.
"This isn't safe for you, get out of here!" your eyes stayed glued to the scene of the bar. Had they arrested him? Was he dead? Injured? Your heart sunk. You stepped forwards, but you were yanked back by a huge hand grabbing your arm. How the hell was he even that big?
"Didn't you hear me brat! Stay back!" He chucked you back to the pavement and you clutched your arm as it surged with pain, the skin red hot from his fiery grip. You took one last look at the now abandoned bar and ran back the way you came. You didn't try to rationalise any of it- you couldn't, you were totally overwhelmed and destroyed by it all. The bar was gone. Was he gone? What had happened to him? Your mind raced with the possibilities. He'd be okay, right? He could handle himself? When you finally reached home, you rushed to your room and threw your jacket off. You'd no idea what to do with yourself other than treat your arm and wait like a loyal dog by the radio in hopes of hearing any news. Please be alive. Please don't be arrested. No news regarding him ever came. You spent the next week or so on total autopilot. Just eating, bathing, sleeping, and lying in your bed with the radio on.
Shigaraki held his head down as he walked along the street. They'd finally found your home, after about a week of looking for an incredibly vague description of a young girl. Laying low had been an irritating change. Losing his master was a huge blow to him- but he knew there was no giving up. Right when he was feeling good about everything, too. So close to breaking the trust in hero society after successfully capturing one of their students, so close to catching a sweet little treat of a girl, like a prize for his efforts- just for it all to crumble in front of him. At least he could still go after you easily. You had no defences, no hero to protect you.
The area you lived in was nice enough. Most places were nice during the summer, though. He had contemplated watching you for a little while, like you watched him, but he didn't have the patience. He was desperate for contact with you again. After the suspense of reading your little notes and waiting around to get you, and then the release he had gotten from finally catching you, he had no interest in resetting the game of cat and mouse. He needed to take you now.
It was deep into the night now. He needed to be quiet, the last thing he'd want is to have to murder your parents and have you resent him for it. He took a peek at the photographs on the walls as he slunk through the house. He approached your room, cautiously laying his hand flat upon the door and watching it degrade. The moonlight shone in through the window, lighting up half of your sleeping form. His chest loosened a little.
Around the room there were posters, cute things you would expect a teenage girl to have. Schoolbooks laying around, a radio, lots of stationary. He peered over to your desk, finding many images and drawings of him positioned around the mirror.
fuck fuck fuck.. you're so cute...
he never realised how much he'd enjoy having a little fangirl, someone who thinks about him day and night, writes him notes and puts images of him up on their mantel- Just like they did heroes.
He strode slowly to the bedside. seeing you ever so still, your beautiful face illuminated by blue light, your chest rising ever so slightly. Your sweet innocent face.
I love you. I'm going to get you out of here.
He set his duffel bag on the ground lightly. He had to bring some things with him, right? A couple notebooks, some clothes- that sort of stuff will do. He shuffled around the room in the dark, careful not to destroy anything he might need. He then turned again to the bedside. Gosh. He wished he didn't have to wake you up, he wished he could just sit by your bed and watch you sleep forever. So still and calm and sweet. He reached his hand out and brushed a little hair out of your face, feeling your soft skin on his fingers. Your eyes fluttered open at the touch, and you jolted up upon seeing his face. He quickly raised a finger to his lips, gesturing you to stay quiet. He watched as the tears began to flow and you sat up in bed, facing him. Your hands rose to your face to sweep away the tears.
"I thought you might have been dead o-or hurt," your breath hitched and he brought a hand up to stroke the side of your head. He grimaced as he looked down,
"What happened to you?" you head turned down at your arm, which had been covered in bandages. It hurt still. The skin was red and sore, it had taken effort across the last week to leave it alone.
"When I showed up to the bar, there were police, and heroes there.. Endeavour grabbed me, and my arm was burnt." He felt the anger swell up inside him. Who the hell did they think they were? Burning a young girl like this, for what? He hated them so much. So hypocritical, so disgusting and corrupt, so filthy...
"Shigaraki..." He was snapped out of his thoughts. Fuck, hearing you hear his name was good.
"You're hurting yourself," He took his hand away from his neck. Oh. Right, women probably don't like that. He stood up.
"You're coming with me."

You sat on your bed, clutching your soft, pink sheets.
Trying to stay invisible for prolonged periods of time was definitely hard. You needed to be cautious, over-exerting yourself and fainting at the wrong time could be disastrous. You couldn't imagine Shigaraki would be pleased finding some sick in the head school girl passed out on his bedroom floor. You had improved, though. Who knew this would be your ultimate motivator? Staying transparent wasn't the only challenge- staying quiet was equally important. Luckily, your quirk also meant things you directly touched turned invisible. (You thanked God for this- It would be really embarrassing if you had to wander through the leagues hideout without any clothes).
You dressed yourself. Now you could see the end of summer approaching, you'd have a lot less time to linger around spying and leaving romantic notes. It saddened you. It had become your entire world, sneaking around his room, leaving him letters, drawings, telling him all the things you thought about him. Just watching him. Fortunately, (or, unfortunately-who knows) he had almost never been present when you were around. You were wary to avoid entering when people were there, or at least when people were awake. You had seen him sleeping once. He didn't most of the night, (of course-bad guys stay up brooding, scheming, and preying on innocents) but there was a small period very early in the morning in which all activity seemed to die down. When drinking, gaming, plotting, whatever it was that villains did long into the night would wear them down to the point of exhaustion. He looked so peaceful. Sprawled out against his messy bed awkwardly, but calm, chest slowly moving up and down. It was so strange seeing him vulnerable. Sometimes you'd imagine if things were the other way around, what if he were leaving you messages or sneaking into your room and watching you sleep?
But now that time was running thin, you were getting desperate and becoming sloppy. Hanging around much longer than usual, much more often. You couldn't help it. You just needed to see him, to hear his voice, to be close to him. You were never able to stop yourself from crossing the lines you had drawn.
Shigaraki had a feeling you were around more. One obvious tell was that you actually knew what he looked like now, your sweet little drawings didn't have the inaccuracies they once did. He often just sat with them, thinking about you, about how you might have looked sitting at your desk smiling to yourself, or laying on your bed, making these for him. Sometimes the paper would even smell nice, having remnants of your scent on them.
It was just something that was so different to him.
Seeing girls in video-games or movies or even putting up with Toga wasn't the same as this. He knew you were inside their hideout, he just needed to figure out when.
He began to listen out for little noises, creaks in the floorboards, even breathing or a little pattering heart. It was such a strange feeling, wondering if someone was watching him over his shoulder as he worked. It was exhilarating though. He wanted so badly to catch you, to find you and terrify you by pouncing and totally consuming you.
He would sit at the bar on his own sometimes. Time without anyone else made it easier for him to think, about his master, about his plans. The warm light, the fuzzy TV in the background, and the sweet taste of alcohol. He stood up and nudged his stool back under the bar. Standing still for a second he drew a long breath in.
"I can smell you." It came out deep and gravelly, the tension inside him had been building and building, you were like a little mouse scampering around under his feet and behind his back, and he needed to catch you. He needed to force you down and make you look at him, make you acknowledge him directly. He turned around slowly to face the empty room.
"I can hear your sweet little heart beating," He took a wobbly step forward. It was probably unwise to ever get drunk, especially with his quirk, but it was done now. He took a couple further steps and heard a small whimper in front of him. It made something rise up inside him he didn't realise was there before- even just hearing the slightest sound of your voice sent him crazy, after spending so much time thinking about a girl he had never seen heard or touched, he needed to do all at once.
He lunged forwards and flung out his arm in front of him, and there was an audible gasp followed by a bump on the ground. He smiled thinking about how scared, how nervous you must be. Cowering there frozen in fear trying to stay as quiet as possible, heart pattering like a small animal in front of its natural predator. What was he going to do to you? You had no way of knowing. Maybe he'd just kill you there on the spot. He assumed you knew that was a risk of doing what you did. When he heard the scurrying continue, he threw himself forwards and landed directly on top of you, finally jolting you into visibility. His hands (excluding his ring fingers) gripped onto your arms as he toppled onto you, finally being able to see you, to actually engage with your person. This time you let out a quick yelp. It riled him up even more, seeing your soft skin squeezed under his hands, feeling your back against him as you struggled frantically, hearing your cute, terrified noises. He immediately shoved his face into your hair and up against your neck, taking in your smell and letting out a deep grunt.
You couldn't believe what was happening. Your heart was beating so fast you felt like it might explode, you were purely going off instinct and adrenaline trying to scramble away from him. You were truly terrified, but it felt so good for him to finally notice you. At last you managed to wriggle out of his grip and bring yourself to your feet. You vanished again but it didn't do much, your panting and yelping as he lunged and chased after you around the bar were enough for him to go off of. It became like a child's game, he was giggling to himself maniacally as he chased you down, and you found yourself laughing with him as you squealed and ran away. You loved him so much.
He grabbed your arm as you were nearing the door, but his grip was always going to be weak with one finger removed. You looked back at him and your eyes met for the first time.
"S-stay!" It just came out without thinking, but you were already rushing out of the bar and running home. He stood there, chest heaving, thinking about what had just happened. He was a little bit stung that you had ran off so quickly.
That little brat. Why can't she just do what I say?
but after he stumbled to bed, all he could think about was your sweet voice, your soft skin, the way your hair looked and felt against his face, and your cute eyes. Catching you was the best feeling in the world. Next time he just needed to make sure you didn't slip away.
If I get down on my hands and knees and ask for a continuation of Shigaraki/Stalker what are the chances of it happening 👀👀

It started with paying extra attention to the tv, listening to radio broadcasts, reading the newspapers, just what anyone else wanting to be informed on current affairs would do. Scrolling endlessly through articles, discussion boards, forums, letting the blue light keep you up late at night. You could spend forever rewatching those news reports, and you did. Lying awake replaying broadcasts after attacks, rereading anything you could get your hands on. You absolutely treasured the limited camera footage the news had managed to get of Shigaraki. The only time he was actually caught on camera was the poor quality security footage of him at the mall after he had threatened some UA student. You had those photos up on your wall by your mirror. Even though his face was barely visible, you could stare and talk to them for hours. Though, there were many interviews of witnesses who had seen his crimes. You had reread them a million times over, constructing a proper image in your mind, endlessly scribbling and sketching what he might look like. Who knew why he was the way he was. The thought had drifted across your mind before, what type of disastrous events would turn a man into maniac who covers himself in severed hands and goes on rampages attacking hero students? But, for the most part, you didn't worry about things like that. You pondered endlessly on how he might spend his time, does he have friends? He doesn't seem like the type. What might he do outside of scheming evil plans? Watching the news, maybe? He'd have to get his information from somewhere. You couldn't imagine what hobbies a villain might have. You were only capable of drawing off silly stereotypes you'd seen in movies. Maybe he smoked big cigars, or cigarettes, or maybe he played pool or darts, or drank alcohol. You didn't really have any idea what bad people did for fun. It couldn't have been anything like what you did enjoyed. Filling coloring books, listening to music, attempting messily to plait your hair, fantasising about.. him. Who knows though, maybe he had some sort of girlfriend? Do villains even do that sort of thing? You couldn't imagine his dark figure, with all the gruesome hands, out for dinner, or at a picnic, or waiting as a bride walked down the aisle...
But- those were all just fantasies from your room, or from your desk at school. You wondered where he stayed and where the league hung out, sure, but you were a meek teenage girl with a mid level quirk, and absolutely no training or 'street knowledge'. There was no way of you getting anywhere near to him. Yes- you'd subconsciously started to wander around the dodgier areas in the city, keeping your eyes peeled for anyone who might look familiar, but that was just a normal thing teenage girls did when they had crushes- look for excuses to seek them out.
You swore your heart had stopped when you saw a girl maybe your age prancing around in a school uniform. You knew vaguely what the league members were like. You just couldn't stop yourself... following and watching her until she returned to a dingy looking bar. You spent so much time around that part of town just sitting and watching that you had practically remembered each stone, each pattern in the pavement, each grain on the wood of the buildings. You knew you had gotten the right place when you spotted figures similar to other league members descriptions. But you would never go near or inside, that would be ridiculous. This is what you told yourself every time you let it go further. You wouldn't let it go too far! You can reel yourself back! Tracking their routines, watching where they go, it was just a natural consequence of you hanging around where they were. You made sure to never be seen. The urge to creep inside started small, but it grew every time you watched them. What on earth did they do inside? You became determined to find out. You were just so curious, had so many questions that couldn't be answered by TV or radio.. you had to see inside yourself. You'd never felt more grateful to have an invisibility quirk. It wasn't anything special, and you could only do it for about a minute at most. It sort of felt like holding your breath, and it was only useful really for getting yourself out of trouble (which you honestly never found yourself in). It was perfect for this though.
Walking up to peer through the windows felt like an accomplishment in of itself. The light coming from inside was warm, welcoming, yet nobody was there. Turning the doorknob painfully slowly and inching your way inside was just as much a challenge, you wished you could just sit and take it all in, this is where the symbol of fear spent his time.. the bar, the tattered All-Might poster, the television he no doubt spent much time glued to.. it was all here. You couldn't waste time in a communal area, though. You needed to find his room. The hideout was practically falling apart, damp, unkempt, they certainly weren't bourgeois. Creaky floorboards and furniture scattered across the living space, it was sort of what you expected of them- the league had always had a 'thrown together' sort of vibe. Scurrying through the building and poking your head through doors to see what lay beneath, you attempted to be as quiet as possible incase somebody happened to still be lurking around. There were only so many rooms before you found what you assumed might be the one- dark, left in a total mess, with a television and computer, and ..video-game console? The thing that gave it away were the hands strewn across the desk. It was so freakish to see with your own eyes. His room was surprisingly similar to how you thought a teenage boys room would look.. you didn't think Shigaraki was a teenager, though. Reports had vaguely described him as a young man, but you guessed with men it's hard to tell. You might have been a little crazy, but you weren't dumb. You knew you had to scurry as quick as possible. There was no reason you couldn't leave a few things there, or take a few things back with you.. but you had to return home.
The first time Shigaraki had found a note in his room, he assumed it was Toga- it's not like any of the guys in the league were going to be writing him notes in glittery gel-pen. But it didn't make a lot of sense. She was obsessed with Stain, not him, and if she felt that way about him he knew she'd just say it. That girl didn't have an inch of self control. His hand would shoot up to his neck to scratch away in irritation. He had important things to be worrying about- and this ridiculous nonsense was progressively taking up more and more space in his mind. Notes became letters and drawings, sketches and doodles littered at the bottom of confessions. Originally he had hated it, and even tried to ask the rest of the league to help him understand what it could possibly mean. He was only met with ridicule and teasing about having a fangirl, so that was no longer an option. Most of the early letters he had turned to dust angrily. But overtime, he began to appreciate them, rereading them, sometimes stuffing them into his pockets and keeping them. The individual behind the drawings had obviously never actually seen him before, there were all sorts of inaccuracies, how many hands he had placed on him, what his hair looked like, stuff like that. The more he thought about it, the less annoyed he was. The people should worship him- he was doing what was actually necessary. Heroes got obsessive fans, why couldn't he enjoy the same benefit? He became increasingly curious as to who was sending these, if she would ever make herself known to him. He didn't really know what normal teenage girls got up to, only things he had seen in movies or video games. Toga wasn't a very good reference. He had literally never had a female friend growing up, outside of his sister. He guessed you'd go to school, do your homework, you'd obviously spent time in front of the TV to develop this weird obsession.
"You're still getting those?" Dabi mused one day, seeing a pink tinted note fall out of Tomura's pocket.
"Oh, yeah..." he grumbled and bent down to pick it up, but Toga rushed to it before him. She snapped up the flimsy piece of paper, gushing as she looked at it. The note consisted of a messily drawn Shigaraki, hands and all, in a suit at a church getting married to a girl in a princess-ey white dress. In place of her bouquet there was a 'bouquet' of hands, held together by a red ribbon. The immediate squealing from Toga as she jumped over to Dabi was irritating enough, but now he had to deal with further torment.
"Oh, gosh! It's so adorable! I remember my first love..." Dabi raised an eyebrow.
"Talk about crazy. I bet you and her would get along," Shigaraki remembered vaguely stories Toga had shared of murdering the boy she liked in school because she wanted to drink his blood. Yuck. He hoped you weren't like that. But, he guessed he'd just have to wait and find out.
