This might be controversial but I believe that as a DM you should never kill your players. Whether it's "bad luck" or "a long series of bad decisions," it causes a lot of unnecessary hardship all around.
Instead, you should kill their characters.
One of these is... not like the others

Saw some purple outfit pop up on instaspam so kneejerk reaction is to put this silly in it.
Being a calm, gentle, non-reactive person is really hard work, which is probably why many people are none of these things. Personally I think itās worth it but sometimes one does want to just roll around on the floor wailing at the top of oneās lungs

Thank you, but do you have any advice for teens?
So my FIRST piece of information if youāre still a teen is that genuinely as you get older it will get easier to regulate your emotions. During adolescence our brains are undergoing a lot of growth and change that genuinely does make it harder to do this, on a scientific level. However, practicing emotional regulation skills can still help a lot and if you can find something that works it will make life easier going forward

One of the guys I worked with told us a story about how, when they were doing archaeology surveys in the woods they ran into a bigfoot hunter. Bigfoot guy asked if they had seen signs of bigfoot, and he was like "Sorry, nothing like that. We're archaeologists, so we're looking for human stuff." and the bigfoot guy was like "Oh! I saw some Native American cairns on my way out here. I can give you a general location." and when he was like "Yeah dude, that'd be sick. We're actually looking to document those." the bigfoot guy was like "Yeah, they looked pretty cool. I didn't touch them though, because Native Americans built them, not bigfoot."
me, unloading a fitted sheet from the dryer: *squinting* what's that you've got in your mouth
fitted sheet: nothing :)))))))
me, prying open its twisted jaws: na-ah!!! give it to me RIGHT now!!
fitted sheet: *resentfully spits out a wad of 3 very damp dishtowels, a pillowcase, and a pathetically sodden washcloth*

gunna be honest i hate to be the bearer of bad news but this isnāt targeted. the way to teach early childhood math is understanding that multiplication is āx groups of yā.
while this end answer is right, the point is to understand that:
3x4 is 4+4+4
4x3 is 3+3+3+3.
itās conceptualizing what math is rather than just route finding and answer. this is early childhood not middle or high school people need to remember that
