I wanna expand on that by saying that she is also very...eerie.
Like they get invited regularly to price's house for dinner and stuff and she is just so strange. They can't exactly explain it but one time Simon and Johnny were outside talking and Johnny stops and starts staring over Simon shoulder with the most horrified expression on his face, and Simon wanting to know what is taking his attention away from the conversation, turns around only to see price's wife dragging something covered in a black tarp looking thing that vaguely looks like a body out in the yard, and then she starts covering it with leaves, dusts her hands and walks away and back into the house mumbling about rude persons and fertilizers. The two were absolutely gobsmacked because what the hell?!!! Then she starts alluding to it like "yeah I have a groundbreaking surprise for you John" and she winks at them.
Or the time that Gaz was telling the story about how he fell off the helicopter and she gets this far away look in her eyes and says "ahh humans, creatures that are so bound to the earth because they are made from it, that there is nothing worse than having the solid ground yanked right from beneath your feet. It always leaves them quite rattled." Then immediately after asks him if he wants another scoop of the dessert she made, Like she didn't just sound like some alien person.
Or the one time that Simon swears to god he saw her slip in the kitchen and crack her head so hard on the kitchen counter that he heard bones shatter, only for her to get up in the next five seconds without a single drop of blood on her, completely fine.
And Johnny is willing to give his entire savings just for someone to believe him about the time she lifted the couch ,the kind that is very heavy to the point it takes two men to move it (him and Gaz did when John and her moved in the house together, it was very heavy even then) on her own without as much as a breath of discomfort, to clean under. only when she saw him watching that she pretended to have trouble.
Everyone sees it except price. And one time she visited them on base and they had a power outage, everyone almost shat their pants when they saw her eyes glowing in the dark. She denies it of course. She goes on about how it's a trick of the light and all that. But the 141 feel like they are going insane.
Meanwhile, price is absolutely aware that his wife is a little weird. Like she knows stuff she shouldn't and has very quirky hobbies and she always sounds like she is from another universe, but he doesn't know the extent of it like the rest of the 141 does.
It brings her absolute delight that these tough human men are afraid of her. It's so cute.
