feminism is a field of study that has decades of scholarship, thought, and debate, but believing that women are oppressed by men under the patriarchy is just a “flawed interpretation of reality”.

So... by that logic, you're implying that trans women aren't in the sociopolitical class of women?

Trans men are men. Nobody is saying that means they have CIS privilege. There are cis men and trans men. both are men. This is like saying that disabled men aren't sociopolitically men because they don't have the same rights as abled men. But you see how that's irrelevant? Because disabled women exist, right? So can you see how.. we have men who are at the axis of cis and men that are on the axis of trans. And both groups have women counterparts.

YES, YOU EXPERIENCE TRANSPHOBIA. AND YOU ARE STILL A MAN. two things can be true.

just looked up idolatry, and while worship of a physical object as a god is the first definition and the go-to definition, it's also excessive veneration, attachment or devotion to something.

considering the hype around ai and all that it can supposedly eventually do, i don't think balking at the idolatry of ai is unwarranted.

people are substituting their own thinking with this thing, having it scan menus and choose something to eat for them, arguing with restaurant workers, the employees that actually work there, about what is served at said restaurant. like the ai, somehow, knows better than the person working there.
