Before we begin, if someone reaches out to you apologizing for accidentally reporting you and giving you steps to fix that, it is a common scam that we are aware of. All reports are reviewed by a human, so if someone actually accidentally reported you, the report would likely be rejected. If someone like that reaches out to you, or you think someone is pretending to be [tumblr] Staff, please report it to us immediately and block them. Outside of official [tumblr] accounts and our support email, Staff will never message you, reply to your messages, or notify you about changes to your account.

🌟 New

We no longer show popups for earned badges and received gifts. You’ll continue to find announcements about earned badges and received gifts in your Activity feed.

We have added a new “Top” tab to communities which will rank posts based on a combination of engagement and recency.

Folks on the iOS app will now find a new “Save as Image” option under the share interface. No need to screenshot posts anymore.

We fixed an issue affecting scroll restoration on the web for some users.

We are aware that images may sometimes fail to load for iOS users, and we’re investigating the issue.

We are aware that timestamps are missing for some users, and we’re investigating the issue.

We are aware that password reset links are failing on click for folks with macOS 10.15. While we investigate the issue, we have received reports that the password reset links do work properly under Firefox, even with the old version of macOS.
