To whoever thought of mlp and Invincible I am kissing you on the lips. Immaculate. Incredible. Can y'all imagine the gore and violence that's canon in Invincible being paired with an already gore and horror filled mlp fandom, bruh? I love it. It fits so well??? Anyways, Mark would absolutely be a pegasus but the only cutie mark I could think of was a literal grey sun, but consider: a vague meaning on hope or perseverance, something something grey skies, something something silver lining. His pony-like name could be Silver Lining tbh.

soooo, hi!!

i know, its been awhile since you’ve properly heard from me. i’m sorry :((

i got into psychonauts near the end of HS / beginning of college, and between COVID, graduation, and all the major changes in my life, it was an amazing place to just make art i loved and explore stories with the characters i love :]

as time went on, i began to step away from here to focus more on college and my work

i also got into different things since then! Barry, HLVRAI, just to name a few

i haven’t ever forgotten my love for psychonauts, not for a second, in fact, my inspiration for coming back here was watching a play through by a new streamer i found

watching someone react to it for the first time just made me fall in love with it all over again.

and now, here we are

i graduated, and now i’m fresh in the world trying to figure out what to do with my life

I’m currently figuring out a job and all that gross adult stuff, but even now in time of great change, i’m drawn back to the world of psychonauts

now the big question — what about the riptide au?

i’ll be honest: i reread riptide, there’s parts i like, parts i didn’t, and parts i completely forgot what i was setting up for

ive matured as a writer and storyteller since riptide’s conception, and i think it needs a refresher / boost

i think you can already see that from tholomew’s design — i tweaked a few things while i was drawing it (especially his shoes oh my god i had no idea what i was doing with his shoes before)

i haven’t forgotten any of psychonauts, even as my life heads in different directions. i think, right now, i’m gonna clear out my inbox for a fresh start. if you have any questions about the new riptide au, i’ll try to answer them when i have a spare moment in my day 💖

but yeah, i’m not dead, just got so busy and caught up with life i disappeared for a bit

but here i am again! four years later

1/3 (next) Sorry didn't have time to write recently ! For this post, I will just present to you Shuffled story of each of the mane 6 ! With two different set of try for their designs with different style because I wasn't happy with Pinkie and Rainbow. Still not satisfied with Pinkie ^^'

Also, both of those sets uses a rule, all colors used come from their official design and/or from early design and/or from their relatives.

Seeing how long it would be otherwhise, I will cut that post in multiple soooo follow-up tomorrow I guess? Nice day to all !

Post-scriptum : Please don't hesitate to indicate if you prefer one of the two styles ^^ Kinda curious of what people prefers, I tend to often change style of coloring and all so I always wonder

Spike :

In this AU, dragons have multiple phases of mental and physical growth due to their very long life-span. For a very long time they have very limited intellect and works with their instincts. Due to this and ponies lack of knowledge about dragons, some ponies raise them as pets. Twilight, when she was a young filly, tried to enter Celestia's school by pretending to be a unicorn and hiding her wings. The teachers, having well realized what she was doing, decided to put her before an impossible test, hatching a dragon's egg. Something impossible for most experienced magic users. A rainbow explosion happening while she was trying warming circle with a hatching ritual (usually intended for reptile) made her make a mistake on her magical ritual and before she realized what she had done, she had a small dragon boy and Celestia, seeing her potential, decided to make her her private student. Spike has lived with Twilight ever since hatching, often serving as a comfort animal. --------------------------- Twilight Sparkle

Twilight is a young adult (like the rest of the mane 6) pegasus. Big fan of magic from the moment she discovered it, her and her brother, Shining Armor, have studied the different kind of magic than non-unicorn can do. Where her sibling concentrated on shielding magic, until being seen and engaged in Equestria's army, she preferred to be more of a generalist, wanting to be able to do everything. When he went away for his studies, she tried to go in Celestia's school before becoming her private student. The princess refused to put her in her school due to not being a unicorn and by such, being unable to do horn magic. As main student of Celestia, she grew relatively isolated and extremely protected. The main people she saw were Spike, the princess, guards and finally her family.

What if the turtles were part bird.

originally this was a silly doodle of Donnie accidently turning Mikey into a bird mutant and when he got turned back into a turtle he got to keep his wings and feathers. but then I was just like "What if they were all turtle + bird mutants from the start.

Mikeys a Rufous Hummingbird cause hummingbirds are tiny bird babys with ADHD and low blood sugar (just like my boy) also cause the orange works well with his color scheme.

Donnie's a Kea, and type of parrot found in New Zealand. I love their cool rainbow feathers and they are considered (one of) the smartest birds in the world, even smarter them some Monkeys/Apes (we found this out cause they like to tell jokes... and Donnies the funny one)

Leo's a Peregrine Falcon cause they are the fasted bird in the world and Leo goes zoooom. also cause Peregrine Falcons have blueish feathers and yellow beak and feet. which fits really well for Neon Leon.

Raph is a Great Horned Owl cause of the birds size, feathered horns and big-old wings. perfect for hugs and being a big clumsy boy!
