As all of you in Inanimate Insanity Nation are well enoguh aware, the show β II (said like "aye-aye", CAP'N) β will be coming to a close soon, or PUBLICLY coming to a close at leadt. To those of you whp JUST saw the finale at the London screening...... are you dead. ARE YOU DEAD. Did it MAME YOU. Here let me help: Im sticking two metal rods into your neck. But Oh my god. Jokes aside, what do i even say. This show holds a very special place in my heart, for a multitude of reasons; I have met to many beutiful folks and formed so many friendships thru being invited as a cast member β which frankly, tops all. That is the most treasured to me. But as an added bonus, having the opportunity to voice a character like Springy is not only extremely fun (because they're batshit AND evil AND nonbinary (heres the confirmation -bean) β common comorbidities β and IM ALLOWED TO SAY THAT because I am ALSO batshit and evil and nonbinary), but the amount of love I have seen for him has been quite surreal (and I mean this in a very thankful, heartfelt way). I cannot thank you all enoguh β for the fan art [and sign] the love β and really for showing ANY form of appreciation for the show, Springy or not. As I always say, I am a very small cog in the big wheel of cast [and sign] crew who contribute to II, whether it be writing, producing, animating, composing, editing, designing and MORE. I love seeing everything you guys do, both on-team or as a fan, whether it be creating for II, working on personal projects, or furthermore. Im consistently blown away by the skill and care and love put into everything u all create. I continue to have my socks knocked off and turned to dust. I continue to die in an edless loop. It won't stop. Oh God. Oh God help me something supernatural is happening here. ITS GROUNDHOG DAY.
Jokes aside (x2), I wasn't able to go to the IIxBFDI meetup this year, as during this Gloriousβ.... I say through clenched teeth....βSummer of 2024, I DEADLIFTED A BAG OF FLOUR the size of a medium sized dog and threw my back out. (Dont worry I wore a dunce cap during physical therapy to remind me that I am, in facy, the king of bad decisions. And DONT WORRY my slipped disc has improved since then.) I missed the event dearly, but having gone to the prior one in Summer of 2023, I must repeat that it was a much-treasured moment in my life... from having both the opportunity to meet cast [and sign] crew in-person, and meet alot of fans of the show as well. Oh my god what an unreal experience. Again, the friendships via the crew that Ive.... accrued.... (issaying crew and then accrued redundant?? I dunno, moving on) since then have been so cherised to me. Love ya all very very much. And big thanks to Justin for mailing me the gifts some of u II fans made for me during the tour this summer; I cried upon receipt and for how grateful I am, and I can happily say THEY HAVE REACHED ME SAFE AND SOUND!!!!! I HOLD THEM IN MY HANDS!!!! And I will never let them go. Thank you. (Also, I HAVE IN FACT SEEN A LOT OF THE KICKASS COSPLAYS TOO β OH MY GODDD THE ARMY. THE SPRINGY ARMY. WE HOP AT DAWN.)
I suppose I should warp this up now; its getting a bit long and I do have a habit of overwriting. I have that werewolf in me (the urge to write endless novels). But to the II team, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of something thats truly impacted me in more ways than one, all of which I treasure. To the fans, Oh my god thank you unconditionally for being so silly and supportive of the show. And hopefully, I will see you all at the next meetups come the future!!!! I WILL BE THERE. Albeit if I don't lift another bag of flour the size of a medium-sized basset hound.
