So I’m guessing from how you have seemed recently have you given up hope? I don’t blame you, I have too. I think Caryl will not be anything but friends and that may not happen until the end of the season. With the spoilers from episode 6, just want to give up and start to get over this show.
I wouldn't say that I've give up hope. I am just frustrated with the reaper storyline and the introduction of Leah, which all seems pointless in the final season when I think we'd much rather focus on the people we care about. This isn't the time for another new group or some weird new "romance" from the past to crop up.
I think, after having seen many shows go into their final season, it's pretty obvious that a lot of the time the show runner just fucks around until the absolute last minute. The majority of episodes barely move along or focus on the stuff you care about and in the last three eps suddenly the turtle's paces turns into a horse race to get to the finish line.
It makes most of the season seems pointless and I shouldn't feel that way. Hopefully, once the reapers are gone things will feel better and we'll get some movement on caryl and kang will prove me wrong.
Right now, I'm annoyed I have to sit through this and annoyed that instead of being excited to watch the show I'm excited for 11a to be over so I never have to see Leah again.
Basically 11A is a wash for me. I do still have hope that what comes after might be good for us.
I do still have hope that Caryl will go canon eventually or I wouldn't be watching at all.
I'm just reluctantly waiting for Kang to stop fucking around and get to the point. When that happens I think/hope I'll be happy with it.
