The invitation that had been sent directly to Edward had said nothing on the front of the envelope. It was only when he opened it up and read the card did he see the phrase. The back of the card had an address, Nygma knowing exactly where it was. Someplace out of the way, someplace where a conversation could be had privately.
Ha, ha, ha. There was only one individual that reminded him of laughter, and that was when he still worked at Gotham CPD. But he thought he was dead--? Yet again, after all the hellish things to come out of Arkham, it could have been completely possible. So, he decided to go to this meeting; stylishly dressed of course in that darker green suit of his.
After all, what did he have to lose now? It was time to .. have some fun in Gotham. Riddles had been running through his head, and all he could think about was the glee he could bring the people! Well, more like himself.
So after dark, he went to the location. An abandoned warehouse, how cliche. It wasn’t near the docks, but moreso in the midst of the city. Ed normally came armed with his wit, but he wasn’t stupid. That kid could have been through absolute hell and come out worse. If it was him, anyhow. So a knife settled in his pocket.
