"you can't kill your way to a better world" ok well currently we're killing our way to a worse one, so
i'm just saying. i have ideas. might be worth a try
Under My Skin
I’m experiencing some pretty awful health stuff rn, I won’t get too into it, but I’m in a really intense amount of pain. I can’t offer any art bc it’s a struggle to even sit and I have outstanding commissions to focus on, but I could use help with groceries. There’s my kofi but my straight PayPal is @sluggybunny
Thanks for any support, I’m really grateful for everyone who follows me and likes my work
The Ouroboros
harnessed this things essence lol and all that he once was is now redused to this. kept his husk alive just bc i was bored lol
🙃 for all of your ocs (or whichever ones you want) let's goooooooo
🙃 A weird little habit they have
Dylan: Stomps his foot when he's annoyed. It's cute for a rabbit to thump, less cute for a giant man in steel toe boots to do the same.
Sylvie: Tends to make nests without noticing. She can't get cozy in a space without being surrounded by pillows, stuffed animals, blankets, etc. Even when she tries to keep the space tidy.
Andrew: Taps out the beat of whatever song is stuck in his head with the tips of his fingers. He'll do it even when he's focused on something else.
Nikolai: Pushes up his glasses when he faces someone, to unconsciously limit eye contact by blocking his face with his hand.
Dan: Avoids throwing things away well past the point of being salvaged. Everything he owns are hand-me-downs, and he would rather repair the same clothes until the fabric is threadbare than buy new ones. The same goes for food. Unless something is truly inedible, he'll insist on finishing it. This has made him sick on a number of occasions.
Jack: Despite being a photographer by trade, he loathes being on camera himself. He dresses like a celebrity trying to dodge the paparazzi whenever he goes out on errands, unless he has to look good for an event or work.
Lawrence: Washes his hands dozens of times a day. Despite rarely getting sick, he's a big germaphobe. The surfaces in his house perpetually smell like lemon disinfectant.
🛏️ Andrew, 🍓 Volk, 🙃 Elle
🛏️ How do they act when they're tired?
Depends what kind of tired. Like any creative, his sleeping habits are a mess. You'd think it would get better with age, but he's still inclined to go to bed past midnight even when he's got to teach morning classes. Sleep deprived, he's much less expressive and quicker to irritation. But if he's had a long, productive day and he's winding down? He's at his most relaxed and easygoing, more likely to sit and chat with a victim casually then to hurt them. He gets more physically affectionate too.
🍓 Something they love
One of his only real "hobbies" is taking things apart to see how they work. He's not so good at putting them back together, but he's surprisingly good at puzzles and tinkering. It doesn't take much energy and keeps him occupied. This also applies to lockpocking.
🙃 A weird little habit they have
Sooooo many. But one they've picked up after losing their humanity is watching people sleep. They can get inside other people's dreams if they want to, but they mostly just like watching. They'll spend a while just keeping track of someone's pulse.
(girl who is already extremely private) i think i need to Move In More Silence
what you experience is hyperfixation, which is pathological. what I experience is psychosexual obsession, which is also pathological, but in a darkly chic and subversive way. thank you for understanding.

Ouroboros' ages
blood-sucking freak...
tbh im not entirely immune to a villain with a tragic backstory but i do think villain origins are a lot more interesting when the focus is less "here is the original sin, the first big bad thing that happened to them that made them who they are" and more "here is the first time a person who maybe otherwise felt powerless in their life realized that they could hurt someone and get away with it"
you can get a lot more mileage out of analyzing a truly abhorrent character through the lens of like. what sort of conditions would allow or even incentivize this kind of cruelty? what kind of person benefits from those conditions and how? over the more typical who hurt them type analysis. imo.
