Stranger things rant - the way byler was handled in the show was perfect and I don't think byler should have been endgame

Disclaimer I am a queer person and I do ship byler, plus I don't really like mileven

But I am also a queer person who has been in a situation of catching feelings for someone who either has a girlfriend or just doesn't like you back

It's an important experience to bring light to because it does happen often, just because one party has a crush on the other and they have chemistry does not mean that the other needs to reciprocate. It would infact be bad writing to put these characters together just for representation and just so that a characters crush can work out in the long run.

Relationships are confusing and do not always work out, and it was very important for will to find himself and not to be reliant on the guy that he loves and to find his own path.

Since I've had to go through something very similar it is very freeing to let go of a crush holding you back and to focus on you and your future and other options.

Besides, Mike has been in love with eleven for years and we've seen him grow up by her side with their first kiss when they were kids, and that is Mike's story.

Wills feelings shouldn't have to collide with his relationship and his feelings and it was shown in the last episode that it won't collide as they will still be best friends like always

And it's a comforting thing to be reassured that you're still loved even if not romantically.

Not every queer relationship has to work out and it is important representation for one to not work out and it being unrequited until the end is really important to me and I think it is the only way it could've happened.
