Natsuo is taken aback by the question. He blinks in confusion, brow furrowing slightly, before he laughs. "Um, I don't know. Mostly thanks to Fuyumi if I'm honest."

It was such a strange question, but then Geten was a strange guy. Natsuo couldn't even be offended by the question. He knew his body sucked. Too cold in the winter. Too hot in the summer. And his quirk was basically useless unless he wanted to inconvenience someone by making a puddle in the middle of the floor.

Which sometimes he did when someone annoyed him enough.

Seeing Kasumi was always the highlight of his day. It didn't matter what else had happened in his day, seeing her made everything else seem impossibly small in comparison. Even all the family issues he'd been dealing with lately.

He flushes at the small act of affection. He doesn't think he'll ever get used to her openly expressing her affection like that. He held everything in so tightly, afraid of expressing the wrong type of emotion on accident. But she made him want to let go a little, open up to her and let her see even the uglier sides of him.

He smiles bashfully as he wraps his arms around her in a hug, returning the kiss. "I missed you," he says softly and presses another kiss to her temple.

There's a small furrow in his brows at the question. His first instinct was to say yes. He thinks everyone deserves at least a second chance to right the wrongs they've done. He opens his mouth to say just that but the word freezes in his throat and he quickly snaps it shut.

"Uh, I don't know. It depends on what they did, I guess," he ends up saying instead. If he said anything else, he'd have to admit that even his father deserved a chance at forgiveness, and he was too stubborn to ever admit that.

Not even to himself.

"I think some things can't be forgiven..."

He freezes and looks up at the taller man, ears burning at the look over. He knows he looks like he doesn't belong, but he would've felt stupid if he'd changed his appearance to try to fit in with the group.

"Uh, yeah. Something like that..." he answers after getting over his initial surprise. He stands a little taller, broad shoulders pulled back and tried not to look too nervous. "Who are you?"

      HE WAS NOT a big fan of sashimi and sushi, but Hawks wanted Natsuo to like him. “Oh, that sounds good. You want to go get a quick bite of that, then maybe afterwards we can… hang out ??”

Hanging out with the #2 hero was probably something a lot of people would kill for, but Natsuo felt pretty neutral about the hero himself so he was more confused than anything by the invitation to lunch.
