The promised Soul Eater AU!! This was just an idea in my head for a while until Silk reached out and pitched me some KILLER concepts. Here's the gist;

Trey and Cater are a weapon/weapon pair. Despite being a weapon himself, Cater usually takes on the role of meister, and is on a losing streak of his weapon partners leaving him for other meisters. Trey, on the other hand, was Riddle's weapon partner, but they split around final exams during Riddle's first year because they were never able to resonate. Trey is EXCEEDINGLY normal about this! (pictured)

The AU so far focuses on these two, the freshly-weaponless meister Riddle (and the eel that keeps poking him with a stick), and incoming first year weapon and meister Ace and Deuce.

I have some ideas for the non-Heartslabyul dorms as well, but I'm still cooking for most of them! I have the clearest pictures for Heartslabyul and Diasomnia at the moment. I welcome ideas. And clothing refs. Please god. Here's a ton of words of me agonizing over character fashion.

I this this on a a japanese song only playlist and a wave of hiperfixation. So heres the context: Yuno (Yuu) and Leona were newly married and lived on his family’s land. On the night after the Town Below festival, Yuno returned home to find not only her husband’s family dead but also her younger brother, Grimm. Leona was the only one still alive, but as she tried to lead him down the mountain, she discovered that he was no longer human.

Silver, a demon slayer, confronted Leona. However, after witnessing him protect Yuno, he chose to spare the newly turned demon’s life, and send the couple to his master, Lilia.

Vil and Rook are the Tamayo and Yuuchiro of this universe. Vil lived more than 300 years only on serving face and hate, nonetheless showed kindness by helping Yuno and Leona after their encounter with the Demon King.

Ace and deuce are both slayers, one ranking above yuu. The three met during a mission, and the two decided to stick by her side from that point on.

well, guess what there were 7 of?

I had a dream I was in a game show/trivia competition about the TWST characters. One of the questions was "Which TWST character grew up in a communist neighborhood?"

idk if it’s ever mentioned why, but in the manga (and anime) every book has a different looking Yuu (for diversity etc)

so, I thought of a potential reason/head fanon that ALSO tied into the whole time loop hc!

basically, as commonly used the obs r ochestrated by Crowley blah blah blah BUT the reason y it’s a dif Yuu every time is bc, the ob happens, we defeat it/crowleys plan or wtv he’s trying to achieve doesn’t work, and we actually DO get sent home

now HERES the catch

bc riddles ob didn’t work, he has to summon another magicless human (bc that’s smth important to his plan or wtv) and so we try again

ts time w Leona’s ob

it doesn’t work, we get sent back

and the cycle repeats

+!!! Extra points, if he can keep us here long enough for the time of one ob (which actually isn’t THAT long (most of the stories happened over the course of a few days/week or so) but not any longer which is why we get sent back and he has to get a dif one

++ the reason tehres a time limit is it’s sum type of forbidden magic or smth that after a specific amount of time will be noticed by the “high council” or wtv and get him punished so he has to keep it short but bc it’s dif ppl each time it doesn’t register

+++!!! He casts some type of spell or smth that sorta erases any confusion for y we’re different to the other ccs and/or sorta like implants the memories of the old Yuu into ours bc he has to take them out before we get sent back so that we don’t rmbr
