What’s that up in the sky?
Is it a bird? Or a plane?
Nope! The Ever-Present Arm Of Justice herself, Tsuno, is finished! (And another fast one too!)
(Note: She doesn’t have an AU design as it would be the same as Kami.)
The Toon itself was fairly easy to come up with. Thanks to the costume itself, she’s going to be a shooting star! (Emphasis on “shooting” but I’ll get to that later.)
As for the outfit, I, once again, used Carol/ @laugtherhyena ‘s redesign as inspiration with a few modifications. The main one being the shooting star decal on the costume. Specifically, I made the tail of the star have a blue, purple and pink color scheme. This color scheme also applies to some other parts of the costume as well, as I chose it mainly due to the fact she is bisexual (I think?). She also has gloves and a winged detail on her boots.
Her hair is the hardest part to nail down thanks to the head shape. It took a few tries but I eventually managed to make the ribbons somewhat accurate to it. Speaking of ribbons, I painted the two strands in the front the same color as the bangs. With pink for the left and blue for right. The hair is still a bit bland though, so I added a bow with the same color as the gloves and wing-like details.
The bow seems to have a three colored ribbon tail similar to her costume…wait. A ribbon tail?
Yep! Just like how her title as a superhero is only, well, a title, she isn’t actually a shooting star! Instead, she’s only called a shooting star thanks to the bow resembling a comet tail! (She also doesn’t have powers other than her being able to fly/hover using her cape and her strength.)
Her pupils are similar to that of Okazaki’s. With the difference being that I made hers have an anime-like style. I also gave her piercings below her right eye.
(Side note: The way I drew the outfit makes her look like a character in PJ Masks, which is kinda silly given the fact that I headcannon that she loves that show. )
The AU version of her is the same as the normal version (which is why there isn’t one here). However, in the AU, she carries a medical kit on her. Which Miki had given after they met each other.
Medical kit + Tsuno/Okazaki eye diagram:
When the snowfall occurred, Tsuno was already going to pick up her brothers. Both of her parents were at work, so she had to go and pick them up after school, as usual.
But when she got there, she heard some strange noises coming from inside. The gate was left open so she went in to investigate, noticing a couple of students panicking or hiding behind furniture, some even having a blue bite mark or scratch on them.
That’s when she saw both of them. Only… they weren’t acting like their usual selves…
Panicking, she fled the scene. Not wanting to hurt them.
After flying through the streets for some time, trying to find help. She ran into Miki, who was looking for her sister. The two immediately became friends. They also encountered another survivor as well during that time, Masa. She had an attachment to her in some way. Treating Wada as a kind of sister.
She doesn’t want to lose ether of them, just like her brothers.
Things came to a head when the trio was exploring an office building. They were going through one of the hallways when a certain phantom thief ambushed them.
The three immediately defended themselves. But as Tsuno was attacking, she shoved Isono into a wall, breaking one of her antenna and shattering part of her screen in the process. Tsuno rushed over to patch her up, but she had left Masa alone.
As she finished bandaging up the monitor’s screen, the infected had bitten her in the left arm. Tsuno immediately pushed the fox away, but by that point, Wada had already been infected. Seeing that her work was “done”, the infected left them alone. Fleeing the scene.
With no other options, the lily told Isono to amputate the arm. Hoping that it would stop the infection before it spreads. She tried to disagree, telling her that there had to be another way, but she insisted.
She couldn’t even look at her as Miki sawed the infected limb off.
Ever since that day, Tsuno constantly blames herself for the incident. Despite both of them saying that it wasn’t her fault for letting it happen.
