you really can reach a point with transgender enlightenment wherein you can attribute any bodily feature silhouette and detail to any gender regardless of typical cisgender aesthetic connotations. anything can be a man's body if the person in it is a man. anything can be a woman's body if the person in it is a woman. anything can be a genderless body if the person in it is genderless. and so on. the only thing that matters is the personhood within and whether you are willing to look and know and see it. open your eyes. keep trying until you no longer flinch or turn away in shame or anger or confusion.
Here's an idea about why kids are so anxious and depressed all the time...the environments kids are in most of the time are very stressful and don't fulfill their needs for play, rest, proper variety of foods, positive social opportunities, and freedom from fear pain punishment etc
Like everyone with any basic understanding of animal welfare knows that if you put an animal in an enclosure that is too crowded, without hiding spots, with no freedom to move around, no ability to avoid harsh and stressful stimuli, and scare it by shouting at it and punishing it, the animal will become stressed and start chewing its own fur off or hurting itself or become sick or unable to eat...
But we expect human children to grow up in these conditions and literally blame them when they develop the exact type of problems that any creature under those conditions would

My project over the heatwave period- below I will share the pattern + some info about stitching on plastic canvas if anyone had interest in replicating this!
First off, here is the pattern downloadable from Dropbox (a black and white version + alternative colours for the backstitch threads can be provided just hit me up)
All thread used is DMC brand and 3 strands of thread is used for all of the full stitches (backstitches have their own colour coordinated thing to show how many threads to use)
I recommend choosing a plastic canvas thatās white as it helps give it a nice solid outline but translucent ones do exist. I *think* typical plastic canvas comes in 14 count but be aware there is larger counts out there like 11 or bigger which are more suited towards yarn work
Another thing Iād recommend is buying some pliers meant for jewellery work just because sometimes the needle can be a pain to pull through the holes/through the back of stitches to secure and it will destroy your fingers
To back this piece I use a black felt with an adhesive backing on it, and used a craft knife to cut out the middle of the area where the chains would go, it can be a bit of a pain to cut through the felt so make sure itās a sharp blade and you can cut away the excess fluff/fabric thatās left at the back and make the hole cleaner
Also make sure to take care about how you stitch around the very top of the thruible and bottom of the handle! You donāt want to accidentally cut through the threads when youāre cutting out the middle, I always just made sure to keep an eye on the back and thread my active thread under existing stitches if I needed to move down a few stitches (just to make extra sure thereās no thread possibly hanging around the cutting zone)
I brought a set of different sized jump rings just to add some nice variation in the chain, doing 2 big ones at either side and 4 smaller ones in the middle
If youāre not experienced on stitching on plastic canvas it can take a bit of a toll on your fingers (idk how I used to do it for weeks on end when I was younger), it can be hard to pull the needle through or push it through, so sometimes I did have plasters on hand as a buffer when my fingers got too sore.
I rambled for a lot but hopefully this can make some sense if someone dares to try this lmao

but the reality is that the harness, both leather and spandex, in gay male world is like stiletto pumps, a bright red lip stick, a short skirt or push up bra.
sure some people are wearing those things because they're about to get laid or hoping to. But lots of people wear them just to feel sexy, confident or powerful. And there's nothing X rated and "shouldn't be seen in public" about any of that.
lots of gay guys wear harnesses to bars or clubs not because its a sex thing, but because its a sexy thing, they feel attractive and confident.
I get that gay men feeling attractive and confident terrifies people, but if you're at Pride and a guy walks past you in jeans and a harness, either shirtless or over his shirt, he didn't violate your civil rights or do a sex thing in front of you, he's wearing a totally appropriate outside that makes him feel confident and powerful.
