…and if you’re one of the people asking for an example of how Trump is racist, you can respond to whoever uses things from this dumb list with what really happened.
1973: The Nixon administration sued Trump for refusing to rent to black people.
First of all, even though Donald Trump was included in this situation, this was mostly against his father, Fred Trump, and not him. They denied this claim and it was never proven that they did, in fact, refuse to rent to black people. A couple of employees claimed this happened, but the majority of those who were interviewed (who worked at these places) said they were unaware of this practice. Even black people who had been tenants verified that they had not been refused by Trump and had, in fact, been able to rent a place from him. Since the op thought they could just say all this without giving any sources whatsoever, I’ll link some so you can read about it yourself.

The op is not telling the whole story, which is dishonest and that doesn’t give them much credibility going forward with this list.
1980s: Trump’s casinos were accused of hiding the black staff when Trump visited.
This is a claim that comes from literally one person. Kip Brown. No one else claims this happened. And if it did (which I highly doubt) this is something the Casinos did and there is not a shred of evidence that this was an order from Donald Trump. The only places I can even find any reports of such a thing happening are from very, very, very left wing sites who will publish anything bad anyone says about Trump without any verification as to its truth whatsoever, which seems to be exactly what happened here so good job just posting this as if it’s a fact, op.

1989: Trump took out a full-page ad, arguing for the death penalty for a group of black men (The ‘Central Park Five’), effectively putting a bounty on their heads, and plaguing them with a lifetime of death threats. He was sued by the Justice Department for discrimination.
This ad happened right after the crime and he, like a lot of people, believed them to be guilty of the crime. He wasn’t the only one as they were convicted before they were exonerated by DNA evidence. So op, again, is being dishonest here and doesn’t really explain how this is racism.
1991: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kinds of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day… I think that the [black] guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is.”
The source of this quote is a book written by a former disgruntled employee, John R. O’Donnell, of one of Trump’s businesses. The only record that exists of Trump saying anything like that is in this dude’s book and there is no corroborating evidence or evidence at all (outside from the book) that Trump ever said it. So I’m calling bs on this quote. You shouldn’t be stating it like it’s a fact. It makes you look like you don’t do any research whatsoever. And I’m starting to think that’s exactly the case.
1992: Trump’s casino was fined $200,000 for transferring black dealers off certain tables to appease racist patrons.
This is not something Trump did or ordered. And the op (shockingly) is not giving the full story. Managers at the Casino, not Trump, moved the dealers because of a patron named Robert LiButti. He allegedly had ties to the mob and frequently went on vicious verbal tirades against black people and women and Trump’s casino was not the only casino that would move black and female dealers when LiButti came in.
It probably would have been a better idea just to kick the guy out, but it hardly seems like racism to move some employees around when you have a guest come in who tends to hurl degrading slurs at them so they won’t be subject to such treatment. You’ll have to explain how that’s racist to me.

1993: Trump said Native American casinos shouldn’t be allowed because “they don’t look like Indians to me.”
If you take a look at the whole story (which you really should do, it’s amazing what context can do) it seems less like he’s just insulting a group of people and more like he’s making a critical comment towards George Miller. He’s accusing George Miller of approving reservations for people who weren’t Indians. He’s not really speaking derogatorily about Native Americans with that quote.
Trump isn’t a great public speaker and he’s said pretty dumb and ridiculous things throughout his life, and I don’t always agree with him or like what he says, but this isn’t racism. Racism is a lot worse than saying things like “they don’t look like Indians to me.”
“2000: Trump ran a series of attack ads against Native American casinos alleging (with no proof) that they were guilty of crimes.”
It would be nice if you had bothered adding any sources whatsoever to these claims as it can be quite time consuming to do all the research. This one I’m having a harder time verifying the accuracy of. However, it’s not unheard of for people to put out ads trying to give their competitors a bad name. It seems Trump did put out some negative ads because he feared the competition would hurt his business, and that’s what a lot of companies do. Tribes have also put out negative ads about competitors who they don’t want coming to their cities. It’s quite a stretch to call this racism. I think the op doesn’t really know what racism is and just thinks every time something negative happens that involves someone who isn’t white it’s racism. But that’s not what racism is. The op doesn’t know what they are talking about.
“2004: Trump fired a black contestant from ‘The Apprentice’ for being over-educated.”
Um, look, I’ve never seen The Apprentice so I don’t really know what’s required to stay on the show, but if you actually take the time to look at the full story (are you noticing a theme here?) that’s not exactly what happened. He wasn’t fired for being “over-educated”. It sounds like he was fired because he just didn’t perform well enough on the show. Trump’s quote when he fired him, which was “You’re an unbelievably talented guy in terms of education, and you haven’t done anything. At some point you have to say ‘That’s enough,” sounds like he’s saying he expected more from him. I don’t know if you know this, but reality shows like drama and they often make use of a persons background, whether it makes sense or not. So he wasn’t fired for being “over-educated.”

“2010: Trump argued in favor of segregating Muslims in Lower Manhattan.”
Are you talking about the Ground Zero Mosque, which was a huge national controversy? Trump wasn’t the only one who didn’t want a mosque so close to that site. Are you really going to just cry racism and pretend you don’t know why he would be against this? And honestly, If you’re going to constantly accuse someone of racism, at least know what racism is. When you call someone a racist and then use an example about Muslims you look like an idiot because Islam isn’t a race it’s a religion.
“2011: Birtherism. Trump alleged that Obama was Kenyan based on nothing but skin color. He never apologized nor renounced that claim.”
lol “birtherism.” That’s the dumbest term I’ve ever heard. But yeah you’re just assuming motive here and that’s bad. Presidential candidates always have conspiracies started against them. It’s not racist to question someone’s birthplace. As Americans, knowing where a potential President is born is our right because to be President you have to be born in the United States so If you want people to second guess someone as President, challenging one of the listed requirements to be President is pretty normal. And you are either lying or didn’t bother to fact check this list when you copied and pasted it from the twitter Translating Trump because Trump did in fact renounce this in 2016 when he stated that he believed Obama was born in the United States.
“2015 (1): Trump called Mexican immigrants “rapists” who are “bringing crime and drugs” to the U.S.”
No, he didn’t. This is a lie. He said a lot of the illegal immigrants were rapists who were bring crime and drugs to the US. Illegal immigrants. Not Mexicans. You taking a quote said specifically about illegal immigrants and applying it to all Mexicans makes YOU look like a racist, not Trump.
2015 (2): Trump called for “a ban on all Muslims entering the U.S.”
Nope. Another lie. He put a ban on seven different countries, regardless of religion and he didn’t ban any countries in Asia where the Muslim population is highest. Pretty hard to ban all Muslims from entering the U.S. when your ban leaves most of the world’s Muslims free to come here.
2016 (1): Trump called for a Mexican judge to recuse himself based on nothing other than his race. Paul Ryan said this was “the textbook definition of a racist comment.”
This might be one that I will have to at least give half to you. It’s really hard to find a lot of information regarding this incident and since there’s a bunch of crap on this list that isn’t even almost true I don’t want to do a huge research project on each one. From what I can find, this story has to do with Judge Curiel and based on some previous rulings from him in regards to a different situation Trump didn’t think he would be a fair judge on the case. It seems he was worried that the judge had a bias against him or was a “Trump hater” (which, incidentally, if true, would mean it would not be ethical for this judge to oversee the case) and in an interview he said he was worried because he was building a wall on the US-Mexico border and since the judge had a Mexican “heritage” he might be biased against him. I do think this was stupid for him to say, but getting one thing partly right that he said certainly doesn’t mean he’s a racist.
And I don’t know why we’re supposed to care what Paul Ryan thinks about the matter. Do you actually think that anyone on the right makes decisions based on the opinions of republican politicians?
“2016 (2): Trump regularly retweeted material from white supremacists and neo-Nazis during his campaign.”
No he doesn’t. I’m not going to even give you the benefit of the doubt here because people who use the terms “white supremacists” and “Neo-Nazis” have no excuse for not knowing what those terms mean and the way that you’ll just throw them around in reference to anyone to the right of you or that you don’t like is not forgivable at this point. You don’t get any points for this example because you’re not even telling us who you are pretending are white supremacists and Neo-nazis. I’m not taking your word for anything.
“2016 (3): Trump tweeted a picture alleging that Hillary was Jewish, or controlled by Jewish people.”
LOL that was something the media literally made up! He tweeted a picture that included a red star in it and the all too progressive Trump hating media goes “that looks like it could possibly be seen as the Star of David…so that’s what it must be!” They didn’t even do any research to confirm the truth, they just came up with their own idea and ran with it as if it were the truth, which is not journalism. But you guys just eat up that crap. You’ll will just believe anything bad the media says about him without bothering to find out if it’s actually true. Acting like this Star of David story is fact really shows you aren’t doing any independent research. You’re just reading headlines and then pretending you’re informed.
“2016 (4): The Trump campaign adopted Nixon’s “Law and Order” rhetoric which was based in racial fearmongering.”
It would be nice if anyone using this example would explain specifically what about this “Law and Order” rhetoric is “racial fearmongering.” That way, it is easier for the person you’re talking to to give a response. Just saying it’s “based on racial fearmongering” doesn’t prove or mean anything. You’re obviously just expecting people to take your word for these things and I’m not going to. I know that a lot of liberals claimed it was racist at the time, but liberals always claim crime control tactics are racist.
“2016 (5): Trump told black voters “What do you have to lose?“”
I’m sorry…how is this racist? Black voters tend to consistently vote democrat and the democrats have never done anything for them and treated them very poorly. He was attempting to their gain their vote by telling them how he could make things better for them so I don’t know why you have to call literally everything racist.
“2017 (1): Trump asked a reporter to set up a meeting with the black caucus simply because she was black.”
How do you know that’s why he asked her? Did he tell you that? Did you talk to him about this meeting and he told you that he only asked April Ryan that because she was black and for no other reason?
Did you know that April Ryan was the one to bring up the CBC and was very hostile to him? She even said she “knew some of them” whatever that means. So once again looks like the full story isn’t being told here.
2017 (2): ”…some very fine people on both sides” said Trump of a violent Nazi rally.
This is wrong and the ones of you who use don’t have any more excuses for not knowing what really happened anymore. There were “fine people” on both sides. He said that because there were peaceful protesters there who weren’t part of the rally and that is what he was talking about and you really should know that by now.
“2017 (3): Trump said people from Haiti “all have AIDS” and people from Nigeria would never “go back to their huts” after seeing America.”
Looks like this is one of those quotes that comes only from one or two secondhand sources and there’s no verification it was actually said. So another not good example. If you have to use unverified claims to prove someone’s a racist, maybe they aren’t actually a racist. Maybe you just really, really, really, really want them to be a racist and you’ll just believe anything you read.
“2018 (1): Trump called Haiti and African countries shitholes.”
This isn’t racist…it’s true. Those aren’t great countries. He’s not saying anything about the people who come from them but the countries themselves are shitholes, so to speak. They’re not well-run and they aren’t great to live in. That’s why people are trying to get out of them.
“2018 (2): Trump referenced the trail of tears to mock Elizabeth Warren.”
WHAT???? He REFERENCED the trail of tears to mock Elizabeth Warren???? How dare he reference a historical event to mock someone! Well that’s it then. Forget the rest of the list this proves it right here. He’s a racist.
Hopefully you can tell I’m laughing at you for even putting this on the list as racist. Since when is referencing an historical event when you’re mocking someone racist? You are aware that Elizabeth Warren was literally lying about her heritage and pretending she was Native American to gain votes and Trump is the racist in this scenario to you because he was referenced the trail of tears when he was mocking someone for pretending they were a Native American? You don’t have a clue what racism is.
“2019: Trump tweeted that four black and brown congresswomen should go back where they came from. Then attacked Elijah Cummings. Then Baltimore. Then Al Sharpton.”
Okay, look, I’m getting a little of going over each and every one of the claims and I’m not going to dig into each every accusation here. I did look at the Elijah Cummings “attack” to see if anything he said was racist and it’s not. He didn’t personally attack Elijah Cummings. He spoke of the very poor conditions of the area that Cummings represents. He said Elijah Cummings should be doing a better job and helping the people in his district and that’s not wrong and it’s not racist. At all. Not even a little. Nothing he said had anything to do with the man’s race. I was really hoping you aren’t the kind of person who just thinks that if anything not complimentary is said about anything that has to do with a black person that it’s racist. But it looks like you are.
That was just the Elijah Cummings one though and if you are really going to pretend that is racist that doesn’t really give us an incentive to believe the other ones are racist well. I’m willing to bet not a single one of the things said about the other people were racist. You’re just pretending it’s racist because the people are black.

2020: Trump called black protesters “THUGS” just days after calling white protesters “very good people.” Then he threatened to direct the military to shoot the black protestors in the street.”-Translate Trump
You’re lying. He didn’t call any protesters thugs, he called rioters thugs. Riots and protests are two VERY different things and it’s disgustingly dishonest of you to equate them. You’re more likely to be called a good person if you protest peacefully than if you are participating in violent riots.
Also, it’s not racist to threaten to take action against people perpetuating violence against innocent civilians and destroying private businesses just because a lot of the people who chose to be violent were black. If a black person makes a bad decision, acts out in violence, hurting innocent people and makes themselves a threat to the public it’s not racist to stop them. And the fact that you are literally lying about this situation to twist it into an opprotunity to pretend Trump is racist makes you a disgusting person.
