Hey there! I'm Rae, a 25 yo RP'er with about 10 years of RP experience. As such, I will only RP with those that are 18 years or older. In terms of writing style, I'm an RP'er who really prioritises detail, character introspection, all of the things that add depth and dimension to an RP. As you'd expect, I'm looking for a partner with a similar writing approach - matching effort is more important to me than matching length. But for the sake of estimates, my writing usually falls into the 3-4 paragraph threshold. If the muse is flowing? Usually 5+.

I'd also love a partner who enjoys talking OOC about the RP. I find that my best RP's are always the ones that involve us discussing the plot and sharing ideas. That being said, please share your ideas with me! Team work makes the dream work, and having an open line of communication throughout the RP ensures we're both on the same page and enjoying the experience as much as possible.

In terms of reply speed, you can usually expect at least 1 reply every 1-2 days from me. But I'll always give notice if you can expect a significant delay in my replying. I don’t really mind how long my partner takes to respond: for me, it’s quality over speed, always! I accept NSFW content/themes in my RPs, and hold no triggers - but by all means inform me of yours.

Discord is my main squeeze for RP'ing, but I'm beyond flexible with the platform we use. Whatever platform happens to work best for you, I can guarantee I'll be a-ok writing there.

The first day's always the hardest.

Jun-hee had done everything she could in the hopes of making the day go smoothly. Rehearsal nursery days at Geum-ja's place. Helping Hye-rin pick the things she wanted to bring in her backpack. Hugs, pinky promises. All uttered with a smile, and her utmost confidence that Hye-rin would have so much fun, she wouldn't even notice the time going by.

She just hadn't expected the old saying to be equally as true for her. Hye-rin had done so well when she'd dropped her off that morning, albeit with a bottom lip that wobbled. And yet when Jun-hee waved her last goodbye by the door, she'd felt just as close to tears.

The wave of emotion had abated, but the constant, gnawing worry hadn't. Those in the office were glad to have her back on a full-time basis, and Jun-hee felt the guilt intermingle with her stress. She wasn't focused. She'd barely been able to focus all day, despite the mountain of work in front of her. All she could do was check her phone, unsure of whether she was praying for the daycare to ring, or dreading they would.

She wasn't a single minute late for pickup. Arguably, she'd raced over early, and forced herself to stay in the car until it was time. How she felt didn't matter. Hye-rin needed to get used to the routine of it, and clearly, so did she. The new normal. She hadn't expected to be so conflicted over it.

"Thank you so much," Jun-hee bowed her head in polite greeting to the receptionist when she came inside. She was still in her work attire; a sage-green, silken blouse, that was neatly tucked into light cream slacks. Her hair was arranged in a slightly messy bun at the top of her head, though still efficient.

She didn't have to search over the sea of children very long to find hers; mainly because Hye-rin found her first, and dashed right over, clinging to Jun-hee's legs like a magnet. "Eomma!" Hye-rin beamed up at her, and Jun-hee instantly bent down to wrap her up in a big hug. "Oh, look at you." Jun-hee was the picture of pride when she pulled away, and Hye-rin giggled, wriggling on the spot. "Did you have fun?"

After Hye-rin gave a hearty nod, the receptionist chimed in with, "Dae-ho should be out in a minute, Miss Kim, if you'd like to speak with him? I'm sure he'd love to tell you all about Hye-rin's first day with us."

"I would, thank you." Jun-hee stood back up, though kept her hand on top of Hye-rin's head to lovingly smooth her hair down. Curious, her eyes drifted over the parents and children. He must've been one of the daycare workers, though picking him out of the crowd was proving virtually impossible. The morning drop-off had been so frantic, Jun-hee hadn't gotten the chance to formally meet him.

Until Hye-rin rose an arm, pointed, and sung out with a happy bounce, "Tiger! There!"

A tight smile nudged at Beth’s lips when Daryl asked after her ankle, giving a lopsided shrug of her shoulders. “Nothin’ too bad. Being off it for a couple hours helped, I think.” She vied to put a positive spin on things. Beth was just tired of being an inconvenience. She was slowing them down even more than usual, and it bothered her. Far more than her stupid ankle did.

That bitterness drained from Beth the moment she felt Daryl take her hand.

She could still recall the last time they’d held hands like this. When they’d come across that tombstone, just outside the funeral home. Beth hadn’t meant to reach for him then. But when he’d picked those flowers, and laid them down for the fallen father that’d reminded Beth far too soon and far too strongly of her own, her hand had found its own way into his.

Now he was the one reaching for her. Even if it was only in the name of comforting her, Beth squeezed back, manoeuvring her palm to ease her fingers through the gaps between Daryl’s. “Right. Not exactly home sweet home, is it?” Her gaze stayed riveted on their hands, subconsciously trying to commit the texture of Daryl’s skin to her memory.

Then he was offering another one of those serious piggyback rides, and Beth’s smile returned to her more naturally. “Y'know, if I didn’t know any better, I’d think you like giving me piggyback rides.” Not giving him much time to object, Beth was using both his hand and the back wall of the hunting blind to wonkily get to her feet. “I won’t keep you from it, then. C'mon.” Full of cheek, Beth tugged on his hand that was still intertwined fast with hers, waiting for him to collect his crossbow before she was cautiously leading the way out of their stronghold.

The morning sun was still high in the sky, bright enough to make Beth squint in the glare of it. “Got any idea of which way, or are we winging it?” Her ponytail swished and swayed when her head turned to look at Daryl, posted dutifully at his side. Either they both moved, or neither of them did.

Daryl hadn’t expected the teasing, but he welcomed it. As he watched her struggle to get to her feet, he begrudgingly followed suit with this crossbow in hand. As they stepped out of the deer blind, he had to blink a bit as the light was considerably different from what they’d been getting inside. “We’ll have to wing it a bit. Just till I figure out what direction is what.” He knew the trees would give him subtle signs, and he’d gotten good at reading them long before the Outbreak had changed the world.

He leaned the crossbow against his outer leg as he bent slightly, getting in the position to let her on his back before he thougth for a moment and straightened back up. He moved to the edge of the deer blind, checking out the tree that settled at the back of it. He saw a bit of moss and new which way was north because of it. “Guess we’ll start out goin’ this way.” He pointed in the direction of northeast. There was no telling how big of an area was covered in the trees they were currently in, but there had to be something somewhere. Or that was the hope anyway.

He moved back to her. “Ready?” He then resumed the position that he’d taken a few minutes ago. “Better to get goin’ and not hang around here waitin’ on the walkers to come around. Rather get a headstart while we got daylight than wait and let time get the better of us.” He smacked his outer thigh. “C'mon. Ain’t got all day,” he teased, giving her a soft smile to show her he was teasing her.

When Daryl crouched forward, there was a small moment where Beth's pride told her to refuse. She didn't know where this sudden streak in her behaviour was coming from, but Beth couldn't shake this urge she felt to look after him. It was something indescribable, something greater than her displeasure at the thought of being the weak link. Daryl wasn't like her. He didn't say how he was feeling all the time, didn't complain unless it was about how somebody else had royally fucked up. Which meant she had to work a little harder, look a little closer, to make sure he wasn't pushing himself to breaking point.

But, apparently, her ride was leaving. And between her two options of starting a battle of wills, or just climbing on to Daryl's back, it didn't take long for Beth to make up her mind. Especially when she caught the slight hint of a smile he was sending her way.

He had no clue how dangerous it was for her when he did that. Hopefully he never would.

"Alright, alright." Beth let out a light laugh at Daryl's impatience. "If you insist." And, just to mess with him in her own small way, Beth more or less pounced on to his back instead of gradually clambering on. "You got me?" She asked next to his ear, that sunny smile bleeding into her voice. Beth's arms stayed locked around him, drinking in the scenery from her higher vantage point as she took a deep breath. Her cheek coming to rest on the back of Daryl's shoulder, Beth spoke after a small silence. "Let's tell each other somethin' good."

She didn't know how Daryl felt about losing the funeral home. Maybe it bugged him, maybe it didn't. But it got to Beth, even if she knew she shouldn't let it. If they were going to start from square one again, the least they could do was start it off on the right foot.

"Me first." Naturally. "…Y'know that you hum in your sleep a little?" Beth fought to keep her composure. Okay, maybe not something good for Daryl, but a wonderful discovery for Beth personally. "A bit more practice, and I bet we could harmonise real nice."

twilight rp call: bree tanner x seth clearwater

what if the the volturi never disposed of bree and the cullens accept her into the coven? and what if, when bree is inevitably introduced to the wolves, seth imprints on her?

i just love the concept of these two together so much! of course, seth and bree will be aged up to eighteen at the least. at this stage, i would preferably write as bree. i'd love to talk details on this plot to make it our own, i.e. what the ramifications are, how a wolf imprinting on a vampire will affect the treaty, etc.

When Daryl relented and her legs were met with the pressure of his head resting across them, a small smile of victory lifted at the corners of Beth’s lips. On the surface, they seemed like the absolute last pairing out of the group that would have a hope in hell of actually being able to survive with any kind of harmony together. But something had changed between them, a shift that dated all the way back to their earlier weeks at the prison. Even now, Beth could recall the days clearly, bookmarked in her memories as the beginning of them truly getting to know one another. How she’d started to see Daryl in a new light; no longer as the man she’d originally thought he was, gruff and indifferent, but someone who, as he’d once confessed to her, was simply tired of losing people.

Because he cared. Daryl cared, and it frustrated him to no end that he didn’t know how to stop. But in Beth’s eyes, it was one of the best parts about him.

His muffled thanks into her shirt roused Beth from her thoughts, fingers settling on the mousy brown tresses of Daryl’s hair. “Now I know you need sleep.” Beth teased softly, her voice dropping down to a hushed version of what it usually was. “Goodnight, Daryl.” Beth said, just as she did every night.

Feeling Daryl drift off, Beth stayed right where she was, trying to attune her senses to their surroundings in the same way Daryl did on pure instinct. Drowsiness came to drag and sear at her eyes while the morning light rose to colour the blackened sky, and whether it was her own stubbornness, or the sheer fact Beth didn’t have the heart to wake him up, disturbing Daryl’s sleep was suddenly so unthinkable to her. He was… different, when he slept. Like he found a kind of peace that evaded him in his waking hours.

Beth would’ve liked him to remain that way a little longer, until a sudden spasm in her bad leg jostled Daryl ever so slightly from his position in her lap. Beth’s breath hitched, teeth catching her bottom lip as she hoped to smooth over the hiccup with a soothing rush of her palm over Daryl’s hair. “Sorry. Everything’s fine, swear.” Beth whispered softly enough that it hopefully wouldn’t rouse him, but audible enough for him to understand her if it had.

Daryl had been certain that he’d sleep an hour or two and then wake up and trade places with her so that she could rest as well, but that’s not what happened. Instead, he had drifted off into a dreamless sleep that had pulled him so deep into the abyss that he had trouble climbing back out of it even when he was jostled. He had to force his eyes to open and remain opened.

He could tell then that the light had changed. It was early morning. It was only then that he remembered being jostled. Something had to have happened so he sat up slowly and turned to meet her eyes. “You’re in pain, yeah?” He sighed softly, knowing that until they got back out there in the world that they had nothing to do for her injured ankle.

He shifted so that he was sitting straight up beside her. His hand moved to cover hers, taking it gently with his and giving it a reassuring squeeze. “We can’t stay here. This gives us a bit of shelter from the wind, but it won’t hold out the rain. And it too far from anywhere for me to leave you here and come back when I find supplies.”

He turned his head to look at her. “I can give you a piggyback ride part of the way? And the other we can go slow…” he suggested softly.

Not because she was scared, but because she abjectly refused to accept this mentality of Daryl’s to always put himself last.

But it was late, and if Beth was feeling the drag of fatigue, then she could only imagine the exhaustion that Daryl was soldiering through. He’d carried her for what felt like countless miles, after all.

She was reluctant to let him slip away, moving with an uneven stiffness to join Daryl on the ground. Then he went insisting that she get some shut-eye first, and that same stubbornness flared up in Beth without a second’s hesitation. “No, you need the rest way more than I do. I’m fine.” Her voice was firm when sky blue meeting earthy brown, Beth’s azure gaze resolute. Stretching her legs out, Beth patted her palms on her thighs, waiting with a vaguely simmering impatience for Daryl to relent. To give in first. It wasn’t negotiable in her mind anyways. Either Daryl slept, or they stayed up together.

“You can’t do it all, y'know. It’s not a one-way street.” Beth reminded, a renewed gentleness bleeding into her voice.

There was a lot that Beth couldn’t do for Daryl. She couldn’t hunt, or track, or handle a crossbow with the same prowess that he did to keep them alive.

But she could sing whenever he asked her to. She could be his eyes and ears, tell him stories from life on the farm. And she could sure as shit keep guard for him now. “I’ll wake you at the first sign of trouble, swear.” Beth sweetened the deal, letting her hand reach out and settle by the side of Daryl’s neck, the concern etching deeper into her features with every passing second. “You may not like it, Daryl Dixon, but someone’s gotta be lookin’ after you.”

He looked up at her for a moment before he turned on his side and pressed his face against her stomach. It felt so intimate, but it also felt so right. He was desperate to feel her hand on him once again, but he didn’t dare ask for anything more. She was giving him so much in that moment. “And Beth?” He waited a beat before adding, “Thanks.”

Her limbs felt trembly and numb, the disoriented swirl of time and their close call leaving Beth’s head reeling. She knew it was stupid to ever think that they were well and truly safe. Safe didn’t exist in their world anymore. But they weren’t in the red zone, and that was something.

And yet for a moment. Just a moment. She really thought that the funeral home could’ve been more than something for them. It could’ve been it. And now that was gone, too. Like the farm. Like the prison. Gone.

The brush of Daryl’s palm grazing by her cheek was what brought Beth back, blue eyes lifting to his face. It was only when he turned away to check the hunting blind that Beth took a half-step forward, reaching out in the hopes of grasping on to him. But Daryl was quicker than her, and Beth was left standing there. Weight shifted to one side, heart irrationally pounding at the fear of Daryl disappearing into the hunting blind and never emerging.

But the hunting blind was quickly proven safe, and Beth limped her way in with reinvigorated speed, her purpose made clear when she offered a small smack to Daryl’s arm. “Why would you do that?” Her expression was riddled with upset, tense and on the verge of breaking. “You made me go first. At the home.” Beth roughly pushed her loosened strands of blonde hair out of her face, trying to muster up a worthy glare in Daryl’s direction for splitting them up like that. But the expression fell more on the side of hurt and frightened. Very purposefully throwing any better survival tactics to the wind in favour of letting her emotions win over.

Such was a front that Beth couldn’t manage to keep up, though, because soon enough she thudded herself into Daryl’s side. Her arms were locked around him tightly, forehead pressed into his arm. Soon enough, she mumbled in a wavering, muffled voice, “I thought you weren’t comin’. There were so many of them, and I couldn’t see you.” And that truly was the crux of it. Beth had feared the absolute worst might’ve happened, and it terrified her.

Because losing the farm was heart-shattering. Seeing the prison’s fall had hurt. And watching the funeral home become overrun was like a blow to the stomach. But Beth could get over that. Find a way to cope. Move on.

She couldn’t do that if she lost Daryl.

Daryl hadn’t anticipated Beth’s reaction to being in a safe space. He frowned, brow furrowing with confusion until the words came tumbling from her mouth. He wanted nothing more than to hold her tightly to reassure her that he hadn’t meant to upset or hurt her. His lips quivered slightly as his arms shifted so that he could wrap her in his arms. His lips fell onto the top of head, kissing her gently. His eyes closed as they stood there holding onto one another.

“I had to make sure you got out, Beth.”

And it was as simple as that. If he didn’t get her out of there and something happened to where she died, he would never forgive himself. He had made a vow to get her back to Maggie and the others, and that’s what he planned to do. She was more important than anything else in his life. It had taken him a while to realize that he had feelings for her. Feelings that were more than what family felt for one another. He was falling in love with her, and it scared the hell out of him.

“Nothin’ else mattered to me.”

He managed to move them into the small structure and closed the door behind them. It was dark inside the hunting blind, but they were safe and together. That was all that mattered in that moment. It was all that mattered in all the moments now and that were to come. He slowly untangled his arms from around her and managed to find a place for them to sit so that she could rest and get off her ankle.

“You can rest your head on my lap and try and sleep,” he offered.

As it was, they’d probably have to rewrap it once they got somewhere safe. His eyes scanned the trees, listening to her short responses on which direction was the best to go. He tightened his grip on her thighs and managed to keep a good hold on his crossbow so that he didn’t drop either of them.

It felt as if hours had passed when he was finally able to see something through the trees. It looked like nothing more than a hunting blind, but it was better than nothing at this point. It would give them time to lay low so that the walkers could pass. Once the sun was up, it would be easier to navigate which direction they would need to go. At least, that was the plan. He moved toward the hunting blind and bent to let her climb down.

He turned to her. “Let me check it out. Make sure it’s empty. Then we’ll lay low for a bit. Wait out the sun, yeah?” He reached up, touching her cheek gently before he stepped away and opened the door and gave a short whistle. When he heard nothing from inside, he let out a sigh of relief. He nodded back to her and stepped in first. It was no bigger than four foot by six foot, but it was shelter and it would keep them out of sight of any passing walkers. “Better than nothin’.”

Her limbs felt trembly and numb, the disoriented swirl of time and their close call leaving Beth's head reeling. She knew it was stupid to ever think that they were well and truly safe. Safe didn't exist in their world anymore. But they weren't in the red zone, and that was something.

And yet for a moment. Just a moment. She really thought that the funeral home could've been more than something for them. It could've been it. And now that was gone, too. Like the farm. Like the prison. Gone.

The brush of Daryl's palm grazing by her cheek was what brought Beth back, blue eyes lifting to his face. It was only when he turned away to check the hunting blind that Beth took a half-step forward, reaching out in the hopes of grasping on to him. But Daryl was quicker than her, and Beth was left standing there. Weight shifted to one side, heart irrationally pounding at the fear of Daryl disappearing into the hunting blind and never emerging.

But the hunting blind was quickly proven safe, and Beth limped her way in with reinvigorated speed, her purpose made clear when she offered a small smack to Daryl's arm. "Why would you do that?" Her expression was riddled with upset, tense and on the verge of breaking. "You made me go first. At the home." Beth roughly pushed her loosened strands of blonde hair out of her face, trying to muster up a worthy glare in Daryl's direction for splitting them up like that. But the expression fell more on the side of hurt and frightened. Very purposefully throwing any better survival tactics to the wind in favour of letting her emotions win over.

Such was a front that Beth couldn't manage to keep up, though, because soon enough she thudded herself into Daryl's side. Her arms were locked around him tightly, forehead pressed into his arm. Soon enough, she mumbled in a wavering, muffled voice, "I thought you weren't comin'. There were so many of them, and I couldn't see you." And that truly was the crux of it. Beth had feared the absolute worst might've happened, and it terrified her.

Because losing the farm was heart-shattering. Seeing the prison's fall had hurt. And watching the funeral home become overrun was like a blow to the stomach. But Beth could get over that. Find a way to cope. Move on.

She couldn't do that if she lost Daryl.

Memories of delicate piano notes were now drowned out by the snarling groans of the dead, leaving just enough room for Daryl’s words to circulate in Beth’s mind. Run. Go up the road, I’ll meet you there. And no matter how much Beth pleaded with time to stop, the ticking hand remained resolute. Merciless. Seeping through her fingers like sand, leaving her with no other choice but to do as he said. Run. Beth’s ankle twinged with every rushed step forward, though the shooting sparks of pain were muted by the adrenaline shockwaves, and then further stifled by the anxiety clawing at her throat. She weaved her way through the graveyard, boots scuffing the rotting leaves scattered on the damp earth. But Beth couldn’t go more than five steps without quickly whipping her head around. Praying with all she had that this time when she looked back, he’d be right behind her. But all she saw were the staggering bodies of walkers. Looming silhouettes of black against a barely-illuminated night sky. The edge of the road was in sight, but Beth couldn’t bring herself to stray too far from the graveyard. Not without him. Not until she knew he was okay.

Garbled hisses and a phantom brush of ice-cold fingers had Beth gripping her knife tightly, a strained noise leaving her throat as she struggled with a walker. Shoving her palms harshly into its shoulders, and finally managing to embed her blade into its skull. “Daryl!” She shouted for him in desperation once the walker had slumped to the ground, breaths shallow and rapid. One glance back to the road told her it’d no longer be an option for them. The dead were pouring out of the funeral home, circling the overrun building. But through the courtyard and past the tombstones. In the treeline, where the walkers were sparsely spread out. Maybe they’d stand a chance there. She made small steps towards their escape route, took down a few more walkers, but Beth refused to leave without him. So when Daryl finally appeared from the side of the building, she was filled with as much relief as she was trepidation. Not out of the woods yet. No, they were going back into them. “C'mon! Main road’s screwed, we gotta go.” Beth beckoned for him urgently, hand held out until she managed to snag his. Only then did she pick up the pace through the courtyard, shifting her weight to her good leg so as to not slow them down.

His knife seen skull after skull of one walker after another before he was able to glance around and look for her. His eyes scanned first the road and frowned when he didn’t see her.

It wasn’t until he heard her call to him that his feet changed directions. Upon hearing that the road was no longer an option, he moved more quickly. He didn’t pull his hand away when she grabbed his and held on as tightly as he could until he realized that they’d be faster if he gave her another piggy back ride. He pulled hard on her arm to get her to stop and moved ahead of her and squatted as best as he could. “Climb on.”

He looked back at her, blue eyes finding hers in the moonlight. “We’ll get out of her a lot faster, and we can loose more of them this way,” he promised her. “C'mon. Hurry.”
