I!! Am proud of this!! My attempt at mimicking the style of FMAB with one of the little eye-catches. Made a sort of basically self insert OC to try it out? Just gave her a longer version of my first name and the surname Heinrich because that sounds like a surname someone in Amestris would have. Also I was listening to a podcast about Troy when I was coming up with this,,,
I was thinking she's an architect/city planner? Married to a soldier maybe, unsure if she was around before, after, or during the events of the show/manga. I drew her in my favorite dress that I own.
I was inspired by that drawfee video where they drew themselves into their favorite anime. I watched it and I was like "I WANNA DO THAT" - which honestly I say every time. But this time it was different because I actually did it!!
I don't think it could pass off as official, especially when put next to a real one (especially with my signature in there haha) but I think it's still pretty good! I think the hair is the most different. When I was starting I was torn between mimicking the manga's style or the anime's, but I chose the anime because that's digital and easier. But starting out kind of mimicking the manga's style I fell threw it off a bit.
Hiromi Arakawa is one of my favorite artists, I'd like to try this again some day and try to mimic her style in the manga more, specifically the fully colored covers. But that will be considerably more difficult to manage with digital art and I don't think I have the skill for that just yet.
I did record the beginning but I forgot the record the rest so alas.
