THE KAMA TRIKONA AND IT’S IMPORTANCE IN THE ROLE OF SEXUAL ATTRACTION AND DESIRE:
Hello, this is Magnolia! 💜 Hope all has been well. Today, I just wanted to speak on Kama because I believe that this platform and community would appreciate it, especially those who’s interested in the relationship portion of Astrology. Well, let’s get into it, shall we.

Firstly, what is Kama to begin with? The word Kama means desire. It’s associated with the Hindu god Kamadeva, who is known as the god of erotic love, pleasure, longing, and ultimately, desire itself. He carried a bow made of sugarcane, strung with a line of honeybees. His arrows, crafted from flowers were scented with five different fragrances meant to stimulate the senses. Kamadeva used these arrows to inspire feelings of passion in those he struck.

Kamadeva is often compared to the Greek god Eros in function, though they are not exactly the same. Importantly, Kama does not refer strictly to the physical act of sex, it means desire in a broader sense. However, when tied to sexual energy, Kama becomes a vital ingredient for sex and ultimately in the act of creation, serving a deeper role in the cosmic process of life.

The tale of Kamadeva and Shiva’s interaction helps illustrate this. While Shiva was in deep meditation, as a yogi immersed in spiritual stillness, Kamadeva attempted to shoot an arrow at him. The goal was to spark desire in Shiva for his consort Parvati, so that they could conceive Kartikeya, the god destined to defeat the demon Tarakasura. The purpose of Tarakasura was to defeat and ruin Indra, and ultimately bring the devas down. Only a seed of Shiva could take on this demon so it was vital for Shiva and Parvati to produce this child.

However, this plan went terribly wrong. Angered by the disturbance to his meditation, Shiva opened his third eye and incinerated Kamadeva on the spot. Kamadeva’s wife, Rati, the goddess of love, begged Shiva to revive him. Moved by her devotion, Shiva agreed but only partially. Kamadeva was brought back to life without a physical body, existing thereafter in a bodiless form (Ananga). This is why Kama is seen as more of a mental and emotional desire, rather than purely physical lust. Note, all of the Kama houses correlate to the air element, as it’s all houses associated to air signs.

Additionally, Kama is one of the four Purusharthas, the four aims of human life in Vedic philosophy, which is Dharma (righteousness), Artha (material prosperity), Kama (desire/pleasure), and Moksha (liberation). Kama being apart of the big four just shows how important it truly is to mankind. As I had mentioned prior, Kama also has a role in the process of creation, which essentially makes it vital for life. Interestingly, Kamadeva is said to be a son of Brahma, who’s the god of creation. Desire leads to creation, and that all starts in the mind. Overall though, Kama, like the other Purusharthas, is meant to be a stepping stone on the path to Moksha, the ultimate spiritual goal of human existence.

In Vedic astrology, the Kama Trikona consists of the 3rd, 7th, and 11th houses, and these are all associated with kama, which means desire. Again, it’s not just sexual, but any kind of longing, ambition, or drive.

3rd House – It’s here that we’re first introduced to Kama, where desire is born. This is the initial flame, the spark, the moment you realize you want to obtain something, like an object, a goal, a person, or whatever it may be. It’s the momentum that gives us the courage to pursue our desires and see them through to fulfillment. Mars is the karaka (significator) of the 3rd house after all, and a soldier needs courage, a courage which is, at its root, a form of intense desire.

Desire has the power to move people. It inspires us to go after what we truly want, giving us the strength, stamina, and willpower to push through obstacles and achieve it. As mentioned, Mars doesn’t move without purpose. A soldier doesn’t go to war without a reason, whether it’s the desire to win, to protect, or to fight for something greater. That’s where courage steps in. Courage isn’t the absence of fear. It’s the presence of a desire strong enough to move through fear. If you want a visual example of this, watch the film The Breadwinner. However, to stay on topic with the sexual component, this is also where the initial spark that leads to sex begins. It all starts with desire.

Think of it as the “talking stage”, which involves flirting, playful banter, teasing, texting and things of that nature since the 3rd house also governs all forms of communication as well. The 7th house is the 5th from the 3rd, so romance (5th house) can begin or flourish through communication (3rd house), which benefits the partnership (7th house). That’s why talking would be a component here. I knew a guy who had his Jupiter on my 3rd and we would subtly flirt with each other, as well as our Mars and Venus were aspecting but it lead no where substantial though. Just playfulness with sexual undertones. However he’s still drawn to me despite being in a relationship.

7th house - It’s the house of partnerships and unions. Once desire is born in the 3rd house, where the spark is lit, so the 7th is where that desire seeks connection, especially with another. This is where Kama becomes relational. This manifest as sexual union, marriage, business partnerships, any form of one on one engagement. It’s the drive to fulfill a personal longing through someone else.

It’s our urge to unite physically with another person. The craving for intimacy, for contact, for union, this drive is primal in nature and deeply embedded in all living beings. The sign on your 7th house cusp shows the type of energy you’re drawn to (also subconsciously project, as it creates an aspect to the 1st house), and when someone’s planets land there, it activates that longing. You feel seen, desired, and pulled toward them in a way that can be magnetic or even overwhelming. Benefics here in the birth chart also makes a person quite attractive to others, as I had said prior, planets here will have a 7th aspect to the 1st house.

To add, the 6th house is the 12th from the 7th, so it represents a loss or drain of the 7th house’s energy, relationships and partnerships. When someone’s planets fall into this part of your chart, it can lead to challenges in the relationship or cause it to end prematurely. I experienced this with someone. Most of my planets fell into his 6th house, while I had only one in his 7th. He had a few in my 7th too, so the attraction was there but that 6th house energy definitely did its thing. R.I.P. 😔

11th House – This is the house of gain, achievement, and wish fulfillment. After desire is initiated and union is pursued, the 11th shows the outcome. It’s the realization or satisfaction of that desire. It’s the 5th from the 7th, so it can reveal the long-term fruitfulness of a relationship, what’s born from out of that relationship. To add, It’s also the 9th from the 3rd, so this shows how an initial desire, when nurtured and aligned with a higher purpose, leads to lasting fulfillment.

I can see someone’s planets fall in your 11th house, or yours fall in theirs, it could show up as attraction with intention. They will see you as worth investing in, like they’ll actually can see the benefits that you could bring into their life, so you have attraction still but it’s more elevated here. Planets here will also be making a 7th aspect to the 5th (romance), so you can feel romantic with someone as well, different from just desire. Benefics will do very well in this house but remember, look to see if there are any planets falling in the 12th house, since 11th is 12th from the 12th.

Recap: In the Kama Trikona, the 3rd house is where desire takes root, the 7th is where it’s expressed through connection (this can also be the act of sex as well), and the 11th is where it comes to fruition. The 11th is the end result of the harvest from the 3rd and 7th house.

Before this officially comes to an end, I wanted to mention the house that comes after the 11th, which is the 12th house. It’s the house where you exhaust the most energy, which is why it’s known as a house of loss. It’s also the house that signifies the act of sex. It rules the bed and bedroom pleasures, not just sleep, but what commonly happens in bed when there’s intimacy involved….intercourse! I believe 12th also shows what you’re actually doing in the bedroom as well. However, I do believe the 8th house is also connected to sex, but not in the same way as the 12th or 7th houses. The 8th is associated with the sexual organs, so if you want to examine the physical state of those organs, this is the house to look at.
⠀✷⠀ * ⠀✵ ⠀ ˚ . . ✷ · *· .⠀⋆ ·⠀⠀ * . ⠀⠀ · ✷⠀⠀ * ✵ ⠀ ˚ . ⠀. ✷⠀ ˚ . . ✷⠀⠀ * ⠀ ˚ . ⠀⠀.⠀⠀ ˚ . . · * ⋆ · * . ⠀ * ✷ . · ✷⠀⠀ *⠀. ⠀ ˚ . ✷⠀⠀⋆ ·⠀⠀⠀ * .· ✷⠀ * ✵ ⠀ ˚ . .✷⠀ ˚ . . ✷⠀⠀ * ˚ .⠀. ✷⠀ ˚ . · * ⋆ ·⠀⠀ * . ⠀⠀ * ✷ . · ✷⠀⠀ *⠀.
However, the 8th also relates to shared assets, which opposes the 2nd house, our family and personal wealth. Since it follows the 7th house (partnership and union), the 8th represents what comes afterward, where two individuals (1st house) become one through partnership (7th house), resulting in shared, joint assets. That’s why the 8th is also associated with our in-laws, because after marriage (7th), we join into that family as well. That’s why I view sex for the 8th house as contractual or transactional, think of sex work or dowries in ancient marriage customs.

ADDITIONAL NOTE:
According to Astrology Loka, the 3rd is also all forms of sexual contact, as it’s the 7th from the 9th house, which she referred it as the Dharma of marriage. In some cultures, their customs regarding marriage in the Ancient World viewed the act of sex as the means for solidifying the marriage itself. Interestingly, the 3rd is also the 8th to the 8th house.

let’s watch stars and fuck under the moonlight
My tears connect me to the divine. As I cry, I realize I have a heart, and that the separation between “I” and God is incredibly painful, but pain must exist so that we can ultimately feel pleasure and love [3H • Kama]. That is the nature of duality caused by Maya ☊

if im on your mind, let me know
Shatabhisha, The veiling star 🌟
Shatabhisha or Shatabishak is the 24th nakshatra set entirely in Aquarius Rashi between 6’40 to 20 degrees. Under the rulership of both Rahu, Shatabhisha is the apex of said north node of the Moon and Saturn (Shani), Shatabhisha is the nakshatra that embody the most aquarian qualities.
Shatabhisha translated from Sanskrit means “100 healers” or “100 medicines”. Shatabhisha is the one “possessing a hundred healers”. An alternative name Shatataraka means “possessing a hundred stars”. Therefore, by its many names, we can establish that Shatabhisha relates inherently to the Collective, to groups, associations which are all 11th house and Aquarius subjects. Shatabhisha is the “ability to conceal secrets”, thus is best represented by a circle. The Circle reflects firstly the collective theme of this nakshatra as the circle is made up of numerous points which are all at an equal distance from the origine point, but the circle is also a symbol of containment, of protection. The circle imposes a boundary by its circumference; hence it differentiates what is inside from what is outside, it draws a boundary. The space defined by the limits of the circle is protected, fortified, dissimulated and thus kept secret. The circle also connotes an idea of elitism, discrimination: only those who form a close circle around a person have access to them, are intimate with them. Magic is often performed around a circle, those who have been initiated to the occult form a circle, they are “kept in the secret”. Magical charms can take the round form of the circle, talismans, objects of protection are round: The Evil eye is a round eye. The circle in its harmonious quality represents the infinite world of creation: Time, which is the tool that helps us conceive material reality, is circular. This circular nature of time is reflected in what we experience existing within it: you are born weak and fragile as a baby, then you grow strong, only to rediscover your fragility in old age: Life’s cycle, Life’s circle.
The circle is also a symbol of objectivity and in objectivity you discover the truth. To attain objectivity the circle multiplies the points of views and this addition of all these points of views helps to uncover what is true everywhere for everything. Shatabhisha is “the one who struggles with the truth”. Shatabhisha main concern will be truth, therefore will try to acquire objectivity by looking at every aspect of a situation. Shatabhisha Trimurti is Shiva, dissolution and reflects this concern because to truly discover what is true, you need to dissolve what is illusory, your unbased beliefs about the subject, you need to challenge your opinions to see if they can be transformed into thoughts. In this lunar mansion a lot of transformation occurs on the psychic level.
The deity of Shatabhisha is Varuna, chief of the Asuras. Varuna is the one who “binds the ocean”, he rides Makara which is the mythical crocodile and is the god of the Oceans. Therefore Shatabhisha association with Varuna reveals it’s universal qualities, the Oceans are vast and infinite, Oceans are also wide and profound and reflect The process of introspection. Shatabhisha's stage in life happens after Dhanistha where one enjoyed riches and fame, and is now looking for deeper contentement, that exists outside of material abundance. The figure of the adventurer who takes the sea to find himself might be relevant in this case.
Varuna holds a pot containing Soma, the drink of the god granting them immortality: Soma rejuvenates the body but also intoxicate much like Ambrosia in greek mythology. He also holds medicinal herbs representative of the power of healing of Shatabhisha: "Bheshaja Shakti".
Shatabhisha holds the persuavive power of the media by being the apex of Rahu. The people controlling medias are not in the eye of the public, they stay behind the scenes, dissumalated. Media is based on Maya (illusion) which is the domain of rahu.

For one reason or another, because there are a lot of factors at play. Mostly these planets are an influence if they are sitting in one of the nakshatras ruled by your mahadasha and antardasha lords. For example, if you're going through Sun mahadadha or antardasha, look for planets sitting in Krittika, Uttara Phalguni and/or Uttara Ashadha. Planets also influence you when they transit through your 1st house or join your natal sun, moon or rising, maybe even atmakaraka or chart ruler. You can also look for the planet that rules your current mahadasha or antardasha. Don't look at these as exact and all-encompassing and please observe your life yourself🤍
Sun: life feels simple, you feel more confident, you are more sure of things, you're rarely afraid, you feel a little lonely but peaceful, you're not afraid to speak your mind, you feel like you have to support yourself, you don't like asking for help, you do little things for others without much thought, you don't mind doing things alone and being alone in general, you have a need to self-actualize and avoid dependancy.
Moon: a lot of feelings are meshing together, it feels like whenever you look what you see has relevance, you feel safe but surreal, you just "know" or "feel/suspect" things, prone to doubt and suspicions, you indulge in fiction, you feel easily influenced, you feel more "home", you feel vulnerable but in an empowering way, you're perceptive, you go with the flow.
Mercury: you like to do things in your particular way these days, you're in your head mostly, you want to change some things about yourself and most things around you, you feel more neurotic, you think quickly, you seek privacy, you put on a mask, you feel impressed by yourself, you pay attention to details, you're easily influenced by things others find arbitrary, you become a masterful problem solver, you are extremely selective and discriminating.
Venus: you live in the physical world willingly and often with pleasure, you become more ruthless and discriminating, you are not prone to giving up, you see your values more clearly, you focus on your values, you don't feel shame for indulging in your wants, you don't accomodate to most people and are careful before wasting your energy, you see how "pure" others are to you and treat them accordingly, you don't want to make noise or attract much attention. You seek out balance, beauty, fairness and harmony, often stubbornly. You try not to settle, ever.
Mars: you feel more energized, you have a desire to "build" something, you become more defensive, you feel more extroverted, you're more engaging, you can't help but react sometimes, if you want to do something you do it, you do first and explain later, you might tackle problems impulsively, you have a need to get your way, you don't mind confrontation (especially it it helps you grow), you feel more comptetitive, you don't want to waste time, you feel braver.
Jupiter: you seek the higher meaning and higher things in life, you try to be kind and considerate, you're extremely concerned about your and others' morals and doing things the right way, you seek out and find spirituality, you don't mind being humble, you try to be "good", you find abundance and ease around you, you feel lucky, life feels effortless a lot of the time, you struggle with making difficult choices, you've commited to praying more, you feel empathy more.
Saturn: you are aware of the limitations and the conventions around you and in your life, you try to achieve things, you try to fit into roles, you feel alright but not the best, you feel judged, you're building a tough shell or growing thick skin, you don't mind doing the work, you don't mind the reality, you're slowly but surely moving towards your goals (or anywhere), you value boundaries, you want to work quietly, you start to face your fears and wounds.
Rahu: anxiety is present and you have to deal with it, you really want to do things you've been wanting to do since forever, you are aware of others' perception of you, you are aware of how things look, you might feel like an imposter, you feel the need to go your own way, you're tired of old narratives, you value authenticity and independence, you try not to judge others because you hate to be judged (but you can't help but coldly analyze others), you never seem to be satisfied, you indulge in fiction more (especially films and series), you want to try new things.
Ketu: life starts to make sense, you can predict less and less how life will feel in the immediate future, you let go of things, you want to get to the bottom of things, you feel like just saying things, you want to isolate, you feel like nobody really understands you, you're not sure how to feel, you restrain yourself from acting most of the time, you realize things you can't fully explain, you rely on your inner world, some things feel really heavy, life might slap you in the face, you feel grateful for simple things, you keep to yourself more, you accept life as it comes.
• SHORT VEDIC ASTROLOGY NOTES •
PART 5~
.
• When any planet sits with Rahu and Ketu, they are overshadowed by them. This is because Rahu and Ketu are the Shadow planets, so whenever they are seated with a planet they overshadow that planets qualities turning them into negative/dark sides of the planet.
• You can identify if a person's Sun is strong or weak in the chart without even having to look at their chart. How? A person with strong self confidence and self-esteem has a strong Sun while those who have stage fear, have weak self-esteem and are shy or under confident have a weak Sun in their chart.
• Mars or Saturn in the 3rd house makes a person very blunt spoken. They'll say only what's in their mind and don't like sugar coating what they say to others, especially people they don't like. Mars in the 3rd house natives actually have a more sharp tounge like they tend to curse, mostly when they are angry or are in an argument with someone and Saturn is more blunt spoken.
• Jupiter in the 12th house individuals are 'the diamonds in the rough'. They have a lot of talents but due to lack of interest, they usually opt out of many activities requiring talent and later regret it. These natives will perform very well in artistic fields and spiritual fields like Yoga.
° Wherever KETU sits is what you cannot live without (sooner or later):
1ST HOUSE : A personality, an identity
2ND HOUSE : Luxury, comforts of life, food
3RD HOUSE : friends, siblings, communicating, traveling, the tea (gossip)
4RTH HOUSE : Mother, family, property, vehicles, privacy
5TH HOUSE : Art, expressing your heart, Romance, children, fame, recognition
6TH HOUSE : Pets, Connecting with people, serving others, staying fit
7TH HOUSE : Marriage, spouse, meaningful partnerships
8TH HOUSE : Money, inheriting property, sex, keeping secrets
9TH HOUSE : Religious dedication, God's, philosophy, knowledge, teachers, father, traveling
10TH HOUSE : Social status, public recognition, a stable job, good career, earning independently, fame, respect in society
11TH HOUSE : friends, siblings, social groups, fitting in with others, expressing your ideas, having out of the box ideas, electronic devices, knowing your future
12TH HOUSE : Spirituality, Your isolation or alone time, keeping secrets, sleep, your bed.
Also check which number (it's a tiny number in the house) is there in the house that KETU is seated in to further see what you cannot live without.
For example: 👇I have Ketu in the 6th house, and the number in the house is 5, so I check the information given for the 5th house above☝️.
I will get into this tiny number system☝️ in my next post. It is very very interesting and I really hope you all will enjoy it just like I do all the time🙌😊

Thankyou for reading through this today, I hope you all have a great day ahead!💃💝
Vedic astrology observations
Part 11
Or rather: information that I think people forget or do not consider
Enjoy 💕
1. Your Rahu and Ketu axis (signs, nakshatras, houses) is extremely important. To understand and live your life story, you have to look into those placements. Any planet associated with them (conjunct one of them) automatically becomes a crucial part of a person's life story and the themes represented by those planets or planet are like lessons you keep learning or themes you keep bumping into along the journey. There is a highly mythological element to Rahu and Ketu as they are always connected and they always tell a story.
2. Your Ascendant is the filter that everything in your chart goes through while expressing itself. I understood the true nature of the ascendant while revisiting the themes of my ascendant nakshatra and thinking that it was so like me, so me, and yet, it was not really me on the inside, it did not fully feel like me, I just lived it. Ascendant is like the thing you just have to do and go through but even though it's so present and so important, diving too deep into and overthinking those characteristics of yours may not be so healthy. Ascendant is basically the themes of Aries (natural ruling sign of the 1st house) and those include the struggles and uncomfortable sensations that a person has while coming into the body. You may not feel like your Ascendant or connect to it like you connect to your moon but you still live out its themes in the grand scheme of things. And it's important to treat it as what it is_ uniquely important but different from planetary influences. In a way, it's also "mythological" for a person, in a sense that its themes are obvious to everyone (sometimes it can be so straightforward and "in your face" that it might be dismissed) and directly associated with a native's life but it's first and foremost those things, not a deeply buried mystery in a person to be uncovered.
(In short: accept and love your ascendant, embrace it but don't overthink it and do not try to fix it or change it. It is what it is and it does not have to be deeply personal. You cannot really escape it. )
3. Malefics are not always malefics (except maybe the nodes). Saturn, for example, is traditionally malefic for every chart but that does not mean that it gives every single person a really hard time. Unlike other traditional malefics (Mars and Sun) Saturn is directly associated with "hard times", difficulties and obstacles in general. Malefics and Benefics can be personal, and those depend on the ascendant. If a planet rules houses that are considered "negative", even if it's a traditional benefic, then it becomes malefic. The same applies when traditional malefics rule "positive" houses. This is not the exact rule, as sometimes a planet can rule both a "good" and a "bad" house. You can search for benefics and malefics for every ascendant online, it's easily found.
Having Saturn as a benefic is an enormous advantage. Saturn is the real deal. Whatever it gives, you can rely on it. You might struggle with its lessons but once you're done, the reward is true and truly valuable. I've found that, for me personally (Saturn is a benefic for me), Saturn antardashas were never as horrible as people described, and the areas of my life that were represented by the houses that Saturn was transiting in my chart were actually going as I wanted, in many ways. Because I'm also familiar with Saturn's energies (I have Sun conjunct Saturn on the same degree), I have understood its patterns of working in my life from early on. Humility is natural for me, but that does not mean that I don't struggle with it. The good thing about a benefic Saturn is that struggle itself is not a struggle, I'm accustomed to Saturnian energies and as many people have said, including me, Saturn rewards as solidly as it punishes. Saturn is great, I like Saturn.
4. D9 (navamsa) signs work as a layer rather than an alternate chart. The signs are like understones to the D1 and color the native's personality in a truly meaningful way. It's subtle, but it is, in fact, important. I think any individual resonates to people who share one or more D9 big three (Sun, Moon, Ascendant) with them. True for me. I think that even if they're not exactly compatible based on D1, when D9 big three signs (at least one) are the same, there's a natural understanding on a subtle but meaningful level. And you know how you should technically resonate to multiple based on D1 but only a fraction of them feel truly resonant to you for some reason? They likely share D9 big three signs with you.
I'd like to quickly state here, for the hundredth time, that there are no nakshatras in D9 or any divisional chart for that matter. Online calculations might show them but they also show outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto_ only used in tropical) in nakshatras too, so...
I have multiple posts about this and you're very welcome to read them but I can't deal with more insufficient arguments like "it's debated", "some people say it's really accurate". Like, think for your yourselves, and maybe after reading my posts about that you can come to your conclusion about if they make sense or not.
Some observations about D9 big three (any) in some signs:
Aries: action-oriented and unintentionally blunt, sometimes don't realize how they act, self-reflection is a bit of a struggle but they still do it, can act without thinking much.
Gemini: cerebral and often in their head, love variety, trust their mind more than their intuition or feelings or gut, can analyze too much, versatile, flexible, naturally social.
Cancer: unbelievably sensitive and can be passive-agressive, understanding but self-focused, can be aviodant, not really direct, comfort means a lot to them, secretive but their small actions betray them, may need time to process things, kind-of self involved but often unaware of it.
Leo: pretty direct, love to properly indulge in everything they do, don't like lukewarm or "half here half there" people, basically put their heart into everything, can be too fixed or rigid in their views, value loyalty.
Virgo: have a pure and "clean" aura, simple (in a good way), often express themselves in a clear, precise and clinical way (no matter how they really feel), often they are minimalists, can freeze when they're anxious.
Libra: hate agression, others may accuse them of not having a spine, truly undersranding but also impartial.
Scorpio: no matter how it looks_ they are serious and intense, understand how manipulation works, may feel like outcasts, a tad bit (or not so slightly) vengeful, very protective of their energy.
Pisces: sensitive and flexible, can understand almost anyone and anything, humble yet detached, have something ethereal about their aura, have a broad viewpoint, may have something about them that makes them look like they're "lost".
Do not have substantial info to share about Taurus, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Aquarius navamsas in big three, yet.
5. The strength or influence of any planet in any chart should also be observed from the placement of the planet itself, not from just activations in the nakshatras and signs ruled by them. Of course, those have their influence too, but if we're talking about tge influence from two opposite planets, for example, Sun and Saturn, and a native happens to have a nakshatra ruled by one of them (and does not have a nakshatra ruled by the other) in big three, you should still see if that other planets falls in the 1st or the 2nd house or is conjunct any of the big three (maybe even chart ruler, atmakaraka or Ketu). Chances are that person might feel influenced by that other planet, especially if that first planet is not in good dignity. All planets each manifest their influence differently when they're present as nakshatra rulers from the influence of their own placements.
6. The destiny of Rahu in signs, simplified:
Aries: to act
Taurus: to enjoy
Gemini: to communicate/get across
Cancer: to be safe
Leo: to express
Virgo: to cleanse/purify
Libra: to balance
Scorpio: to transform
Sagittarius: to explore
Capricorn: to build
Aquarius: to influence
Pisces: to transcend
The base/foundation of Ketu in signs, simplified:
Aries: identity
Taurus: resources
Gemini: intelligence/intellect
Cancer: safety
Leo: self-posession
Virgo: clarity
Libra: balance/harmony
Scorpio: depth
Sagittarius: truth
Capricorn: status
Aquarius: influence
Pisces: wisdom
Just a reminder: astrology is best learned from observing and double/triple/quadruple checking the facts yourself. Despite this, the mythological nature of it makes intuitive perception kind of necessary to truly grasp it and understand it. I'd advise to write down your observations or to note them otherwise but do not share them or be sure of them unless you have sufficient proof and enough examples. Also, sometimes your personal experience and a pattern you're very familiar with is enough, there's no need to find an example from media or celebrities. I feel like everyone is just throwing random senstences around on astrology blogs these days and very few of them actually say something of value or make sense.
That's one of the reasons why I'd really appreciate confirmations from you in comments or reblogs or otherwise, on this and other posts too. My posts get a lot of likes but not many get enough comments or reblogs and yeah it would be nice to make my posts more visible, but mainly I just want genuine feedback from people. That's why I want more exposure anyways. So, if you want to comment your example(s) or personal impressions do not think that you're being annoying, that's exactly what I want.

Pt 4 Leo to Virgo nakshatras coming soon
Woah! Thanks for the wealth of information, amazing blog! I am wondering about your nakshatra post, part 1. Where does the idea that Krittika is unfavorable for travel and driving come from? First time I hear that, super curious! Thank you!! ❤❤
Hey
About Krittika, great question! It’s known for having this super fast driven, fiery energy (thanks to its ruling planet, the Sun, and its symbolism of a blade). Because of that, I associate it with impulsiveness and speed, which can sometimes lead to accidents, especially with driving or traveling. I’ve personally noticed that when Venus or Mars transit Krittika, there’s a definite spike in high speed incidents and car crashes. It’s like the energy gets too hot to handle.
An acquaintance of mine totaled her car while driving on the highway while back when Venus had entered Krittika. And then this guy I follow online, super into fast cars, who crashed during a Venus Krittika transit... He had Krittika natal Mars.
When rahu gets involved, flight accidents
One example that really stuck with me, my friend in the Air Force, had a terrifying experience when his jet started failing mid-flight. It was something mechanical his natal Rahu was being transited by Mars in Krittika at the exact time in his 10th house. He nearly didn’t make it out alive, but thankfully, he did, and he’s okay now.
Another friend whose cousin died in a private plane crash during a rahu-venus transit over their natal Rahu in Krittika. Another person I knew only through mutuals lost their brother in a commercial flight accident, and when I checked, Mars ruler of their 8th house was transiting Krittika, hitting their Rahu and Saturn exact.
I have many more examples. I know it sounds intense, but these are the kinds of patterns that make me take this nakshatra seriously.
My personal observation I hope this cleared things up for you. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask stay curious
Many people studying astrology are stuck in the state of Pushya (3°20–16°40 sidereal Cancer) & Ashlesha (16°40–30°0) sidereal Cancer 🌸
This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it can potentially be a blockage towards true spiritual enlightenment.

In Pushya nakshatra, the divine Mother embeds within us endless emotional capacity for happiness and joy (Brihaspati | Jupiter is the presiding deity of this nakshatra). We learn through Her love. 4th house indicates happiness from healthy home life. It is our overall sense of joy established by our Mother in childhood.
But — we must grow up and leave the home eventually in order to become a true individual. This separation from our Mother/home/childhood occurs during the Ashlesha—Magha gandanta knot. Many people are stuck referring back to the same source, the same “Mother” of their spiritual insight in Pushya-Ashlesha and refuse to release their clinging grasp on her so they can become a true individual capable of independent thought.
No one becomes a truly developed individual until Uttara Phalguni nakshatra, where we fully blossom into a being capable of producing their dreams through making their own decisions, outside of the restricting grasp of the Mother in Pushya & Ashlesha. After Magha unclings us from our Mother, Magha is neglected and undernourished by the absence of the Mother and instead guided by the ancestral DNA-consciousness embedded within them inherited by their father. Our father is the one with the vision to lead us toward our next steps.
The positive aspect of all this is that people seek Mother because they know she is the Ultimate Reality and the true source of all spiritual knowledge and wisdom. She is the spiritual awakening that softens our heart to the sensitivity of being alive. Jupiter (Brihaspati | Pushya) is a guide.
Interestingly enough, many Pushya natives have a tough time growing up and it is their Mother who prevents them from doing so. This is because a primary lesson under this nakshatra is to show one’s Mother that they have mastered spiritual energy enough to guide themselves out of her restricting embrace.
In Pushya, we must outsmart our first spiritual master which is our Mother. However, without her loving guidance and embrace, we could never become a proper adult in this realm or the spiritual realm. She provides us with the comfort of a home that we can always feel safe and sound in. Jupiter exalts here because Pushya is safe and nourishing enough for a child to grow in. After a certain point, though, it is simply coddling an adult-child, and the stage becomes highly inappropriate for a true spiritually initiated being.
The concept of a “Virgin Mother” suits Pushya nakshatra because Pushya is the eternally divine Mother and not the physical manifestation of Woman (represented by Uttara Phalguni) which must be “penetrated” in order for her to bear fruit.
