it is currently september 22nd in japan, which means it’s akihiko’s birthday!!!!! i decided to host another akihiko cake on twitter! like the 2018 akihiko cake, i opened submisssions for art of him that i could use as cake toppers and this year i got around 120+ submissions omfggg HENCE THIS BOUQUET OF AKIHIKOS ON TOP OF THIS CAKE!!! the cake itself is homemade with a great help from my siblings! it’s a crepe cake with cotton candy whipped cream and apple slices. we served it with vanilla ice cream and butter cookie crumbs :)♥

learning that natsuko ishikawa was both the lead writer for shadowbringers and the writer responsible for the entire drk questline is incredibly illuminating. she clearly has so much to say on the topic of regret and repentence and I'm glad she got to put it front and center in the msq. her themes of examining our past mistakes for reasons to be better really resonate with me personally, and the way she contrasts heroes (who she defines as those who have taken their mistakes to heart and allow the harm they've done to drive them to be better), with villains (who she defines as those who ignore or justify the harm they have done and continue on their path regardless, free from the burden of self-examination) is really, really powerful and important

FeMC has a canon name!

Our lovely female protagonist has been featured in a Persona collab with the game Puzzle & Dragons and her name is Kotone Shiomi the same as the stage play! I’ll probably still use Minako but I’m so glad to see her included in more things!

Hopefully this is a sign of things going forward and Atlus is done ignoring her!
