Saying that you *want* to be a certain gender identity or sexuality is a privileged experience but it is not an invalid one. No one can choose to be part of the LGBTQ community. You can, however, choose what labels and identities fit you at any given time. Gender is fluid, as is sexuality. Not all of us will experience it this way because the way each of us deals with gender and sexuality is incredibly individual. There are as many unique experiences as there are members of the community. How about we learn from each other and actually learn from different experiences instead of fucking attacking people? How about we actually try to understand before immediately jumping on the assumption of bigotry and “faking it”? Because I think the world is cruel enough to us without us being cruel to each other.
