Well, that's how Cowboy Shows go, I guess...
Hey guys, let's pretend that this isn't the first fully rendered piece of digital artwork I've ever posted, okay?
Based on the work "High Plain, Lo Mein" by Kym Day, who is truly one of the Western artists of all time. Seriously, all of her work would constitute a top tier tumblr shitpost, please go check her out and support her if you can. This was mostly done as an excuse to test out different tools on CSP, especially the thick oil brush, but I'm kind of stupidly proud how it turned out.
Timmy and Tommy's Delivery Service
Going to try posting art again. I tried doing this concept a few years ago, but it was my first time working with gouache and I made a mistake and got discouraged. Picked it up again with some new watercolor paints and I think it turned out great!

True to its name, the butterfly bush is a popular attraction for all pollinators, especially butterflies. It is also a common herb in traditional Chinese medicine. Like butterflies, it symbolizes rebirth and new beginnings.
AUTOCORRECT GOT ME FALLING FOR THE CLASSIC ITS/IT'S BLUNDER I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BELIEVE ME
Aquilegia gets its name from the Latin word for eagle (aquila), and its common name Columbine from the Latin word for dove (columba.) Both refer to its unique shape, thought to resemble an eagle's claws or dove' wings, which help to attract pollinators (primarily hummingbirds.) They symbolize wisdom, strength, and happiness.

SHIT I FORGOT TO POST MY HOMEWORK THIS WEEK
The butterfly pea plant symbolizes rebirth and new beginnings. It is a common ingredient in herbal medicine, especially as a tea to calm the nerves.
(we also aren't going to talk about its scientific name)
In Greek mythology, windflowers grew from the tears of Aphrodite, mourning the loss of her lover Adonis at the hands of her husband Ares. As such, windflowers often represent rebirth and new beginnings, but also good fortune and beauty.
(Hey look I'm trying to keep these all unique but there are so many flowers in the world)
