Finally getting into animation! it only took me 30 years.
Y’all stop drawing Alcina Dimitrescu skinny I’m BEGGING.
Let her have a thick waist.
Let her have full hips.
Let her have big tits.
And if she’s not dramatically looming over me like a gothic skyscraper, then what are we even doing here.
YES!!! PLEASE THIS!!! Say it louder for people in the the back LADY DIMITRESCU IS NOT SKINNY!!!!
Not only should she be curvy and soft, but also MUSCULAR! Have you seen her arms?!?!??!
More concept art for my novel in the works. This is Nadia Baranová, the vampire hunter who makes up the other half of the main romance. Just some concepts for her clothing. I was going for a sort of Bloodborne inspired look but think her outfit might give more pirate vibes then I intended.
My OC Clementine and her illustrious overlord.
women who aren’t even 30 yet
leonardo dicaprio type of post
1998 is baffling but I think we are ignoring how truly baffling the other end of the range is! 2001? 24 years old? Older woman? If this wasn't originally posted by like an 18-19 year old I'm gonna pass away.
My Hazbin Hotel OC, Clementine Barker, AKA The Jack-o-lope Killer. She Lived and died in wild west Arizona where she made a deal with a demon named Rosie to help her get revenge on people who had wronged her in exchange for her soul. With Rosie's aid she hunted her victims and used their bodies to make taxidermy art, adding features like the ears of a hair and antlers, leading to her nick name. Any parts of the bodies that she didn't use in the art pieces, she cooked and cannibalized as she believed in not wasting any part of a kill. She was caught and shot down by a firing squad in 1886. Since her death she has resided in cannibal town and follows Rosie's orders without complaint. She is quiet fond of her overlord and sees no reason to be disobedient.
Some photos @thatwascallywobeiespierre took of me after a Halloween event. I was cosplaying Celin Castia. I was originally going to do some special effects make up to achieve the half ripped off face she has in Canon, but my liquid latex was expired so I wasn't gonna put that on my face.
The "I like making emotionally unavailable women fall for me in games because I'm too scared to approach them in real life" starter pack:
This is about the sexiness of The Golden Girls but I really feel the need to remind the world of how fucking progressive this show was.
In the episode 72 hours, we find out Rose may have contracted AIDs during an emergency gallbladder surgery.
Rose: Why me, Blanche? I'm tired of pretending I feel okay so you won't say, 'Take it easy', and I'm tired of you saying 'Take it easy' because you're afraid I'm going to fall apart. Dammit, why is this happening to me? I mean, this isn't supposed to happen to people like me. You must've gone to bed with hundreds of men. All I had was one innocent operation. Blanche: Hey, wait a minute! Are you saying this should be me and not you? Rose: No! No, I'm just saying that I am a good person. Hell, I'm a goody-two-shoes! Blanche: AIDS is not a bad person's disease, Rose, it is not God punishin' people for their sins!
In Isn't it romantic? we find out Dorothy's childhood best friend is a lesbian who recently lost her partner. She confesses she has feelings for Rose. Rose turns her down but makes it clear that she still wants to be friends even though she doesn't return those feelings.
Sophia: Jean is a nice person. She happens to like girls instead of guys. Some people like cats instead of dogs.
Jean: Rose, about last night. I should never have said anything. Rose: You only said what you were feeling. Jean: It's just that this last year has been so difficult for me. Pat was the person I planned to spend the rest of my life with. And when she died, I just felt so terribly alone. Empty. I thought I could never care for anyone again. Until I met you. I just got very confused. I hope I didn't make you uncomfortable. Rose: Well, I have to admit that I don't understand these kinds of feelings. But if I did understand, if I were, you know, like you, I'd be very flattered and proud that you thought of me that way.
Ebbtide's Revenge gives us Phil's funeral, and Sophia addressing him wearing women's clothes.
Rose: So what if he was different? It's okay that you loved him. Sophia: I did love him. He was my son, my little boy. But every time I saw him I wondered what I did, what I said, when was the day I did whatever I did to make him the way he was. Angela Petrillo: What he was Sophia, was a good man.
Sister of the Bride, where Blanche's brother Clayton brings his boyfriend to town, because they're planning on getting married.
Blanche: Oh, look, I can accept the fact that he's gay, but why does he have to slip a ring on this guy's finger so the whole world will know? Sophia: Why did you marry George? Blanche: We loved each other. We wanted to make a lifetime commitment. Wanted everybody to know. Sophia: That's what Doug and Clayton want, too. Everyone wants someone to grow old with. And shouldn't everyone have that chance?
There are so many episodes I could sit here and quote but this show is still so important. It isn't perfect, there are jokes that definitely don't land that I will not sit here and defend, but in the context of when it was created? This show is a fucking masterpiece and deserves respect for that.
Honestly, I'm surprised about the amount of hate Gale and Wyll get. I do understand that they may not be everyone's type but most of the hate seems...forced?
I initially played Baldurs Gate 3 without interacting with the fandom and just enjoyed the game, actually really loving each character. Only in my second playthrough I started to engage with the fandom and was genuinely at a loss at how much they are disliked - and not just by cishet (white) men. In fact, most hate I have seen came from women, which I thought would be a lot more into them, esp het gamer girls. Especially since a lot of the hate is for weird reasons like Wyll's voice or the fact Gale needs to eat magical artifacts (which he needs 2 or 3 times at most and you do get a lot of loot you can dispose of through giving it to Gale??)
Gale is my favorite and Wyll is my second favorite. I’ve been seeing a lot of Gale hate lately. People think he is arrogant, talks to much and is too hung up on his ex. Most of it comes from people that don’t know the lore surrounding Faerun and D&D. Before the Orb Gale was an Archmage which is basically Level 20 and he could cast the highest level and most powerful spells - so yes, he does know more about magic than most wizards even - certainly more than your level 1 wizard. As far as arrogance, talking too much, etc. He is a wizard. Canonically they are all like that. Gale and Elminster are not unusual. Wizards tend to associate mostly with other wizards. I don’t think Gale talks about Mystra to excess. Maybe I choose different dialogue options than everyone else. The only time he really talks about his relationship is in banter with other companions. And even Astarion notes that he is pining for Tav. Most of what Gale is going through is grief for his lost magical skills not his relationship with Mystra.
Wyll is a straight up sweetheart. He is every Disney prince out there. He is funny and cute and romantic. He is also. Wry young - I think k he is supposed to be 24.
I’ve romanced all the men. Gale is my favorite. Astarion is my least favorite. As far as I’m concerned he needs a friend more than a lover.
I think both characters are wonderful. They aren't particularly my favorites, but I love having them around. I think the only complaint I have about Wyll is that the writers really underutilized him. And that's not really a critic of his character and more so a critic on the writing. My only complaint about Gale is that his "know-it-all" ramblings mildly anoy me. And those quirks are just par for the course with wizards 🤣
reasons why i relate to tav, the main character from baldurs gate 3:
shouldn’t have wished to live in more interesting times.
2. is that blood? no. nevermind.
3. Cursed to put my hands on everything. (Sensory issues at its finest)
it used to be 2007 you know
All the adults should put in the tags how old they were in 2007
i was 7
I was 12, a whole double digit.
Look I'm not saying throw Neve out with the bathwater. I don't hate her. She's got some clunky dialogue and in my opinion like everyone. And not a fully complete story but better than some. And yes she's a fictional character.
But I get to be mad at her and you don't get to tell me not to be. It is clear the writers fucked up. She knows that the team is splitting in half so why is she pouring her hate down Rook's throat and not the entire half of people that didn't run to save her city? I mean she acts like you personally sent the fucking dragon to destroy Minrathous.
Nah. Nah at all.
The fact that you can earn her trust back is fantastic. I think that is the best choice that was made. But they have her acting like she would kick Rook over the edge of the lighthouse as soon as look at her. WTF? Okay so she's the angry person. She's the one that carries her huge chip on her shoulder. Funny how you made her one of the POCs and then gave her that crappy writing. Knock that shit off.
No hate for Neve. But I get to feel bitter about her bitter.
Lucanis will literally do this too if you choose Minrathous you walnut!
They get angry in different ways, but they both get angry. Lucanis feels it like its a personal betrayal of his trust on Rook's part. Rook is the impromptu leader of the group and makes the call on who goes where. So while no, rook doesn't personally send the dragan, they do choose to show up for one city over another.
You have every right to angry with Neve's reaction, but maybe just maybe you pick Minrathous once so you can see the other side of this narrative. I'm so fucking tired of people throwing fits when a woman in media is angry!
You've turned off replies so this is the only way I respond to your comments. You have every right to think the writing is clunky. It is, its a flawed game. But Neve being angry about Minrathous falling isn't irrational. Taking it out on Rook is a bit, but she herself recognizes this. She says "I know you had to make an impossible choice." Her wanting space while she greaves her city isn't irrational. Her wanting you to leave her alone while she deals with her own emotions is actually emotionally mature. The games writing can definitely be clunky at times but this doesn't seem to be an instance of that in my opinion.
I agree that there is a problem with women (especially woman of color) being written to be irrational in media. Neve does not seem like an instance of this problem to me. I also see a similar but opposite problem happen in Fandom where female characters aren't aloud to show any harsh or negative emotions otherwise the Fandom will dog on them. The Fandom outcry about Neve seems like that to me. Especially considering that I NEVER see anyone complain about hardened Lucanis wich is why I brought him up. Everyone has something negative to say about Neve or how she is written but whenever you bring up Lucanis having a similar flaw its always "I'm not talking about Lucanis" or "I'll get to him later" and then they never do. Hm I wonder why?
MICHELLE GOMEZ || The Collection (2016)
She was so unbelievably stunning in this show!!! I wish her character got more screen time. She's only in like 2 episodes. The show is good in general, I really enjoyed it, but I wish I could have spent more time stairing into her baby blues!
Tumblr what the fuck? Tumblr mobile is already shitty to uses and you've gone and made it worse somehow! I could not give less of a shit about what searches are "trending" right now! I want to easily access MY frequented searches! When will the Tumblr executives understand that the Tumblr user base does not use Tumblr the way people use most social media because Tumblr originally wasn't even supposed to BE a social media platform! Its a blog sight that has taken on some social media traits to create a sort fusion that is perfect for its user base. But with the addition of a FYP and now this trending searches thing, it seems you are pushing for it to just fully go the social media route and I just HATE that. 99% of your user base HATES that. If we wanted to use social media we just would, there are SO many sights we could be using if we wanted to know what was "trending" or if we wanted to be a slave to an algorithm. But we don't! We came to this sight spasificly to escape that! I'm so tired!
