@raisincouncil
I’ve started working on seasonal prints for this years markets :)
I was talking to my husband the other day and, as a random example of a boring topic that nobody at a party would want to hear about, I happened to come up with, “The history of wheelbarrows.”
But then my husband and I got curious and decided to look up the history of wheelbarrows, and we both thought it was surprisingly interesting.
The very next day, we were visiting a thrift store with family and my sister spotted a toy wheelbarrow for her son, and my husband said, “Did you know that Jesus was older than wheelbarrows? They weren’t invented until around 100 CE.”
This is why curious people are my favorite type of people. No topic is really that boring when you look into it. And everything is more interesting when you talk about it with someone you love.
This was my second original embroidery design! I did it in july 2020 :) By this point i was really into using cool techniques to show textures and i was very excited to try out stump work (basically crochet LOL) for the nori. I love picking techniques that really reflect the properties of something.
It's also VERY SMALL, see last photo with my glasses next to it.

the ideal chai latte is one of the most amazing things on this earth. it’s a shame that most cafes think they have to serve either a cup of grit or milk that they whispered the names of spices to

There have been new likes on my 3 years old Fool fanart in the past few days while I’m actually working on a new one 😂 I call it fate and give you a lil sneak peek.
(bonus: I‘m on my way to my own concert while posting this)
Dang, I hope it's hot enough to justify this strip when it actually runs. Well, not really. I HATE the heat. But it was hot when I DREW this, so hopefully it won't feel woefully out of place on the day it runs. lol Well, hot or not, it will at least officially be SUMMER.

im sorry his swag is just unparalleled i know i could never pull this off and yet i need every part of this fit
I thought this might have been from the Reading Rainbow x Star Trek crossover episode (WHICH SOUNDS FAKE I KNOW but it was real and totally worth watching especially for Michael Dorn dramatically exiting the makeup trailer and saying "Step aside. I take LARGE STEPS," which has been a part of my familect ever since.)
But it's from a test fitting for the visor! That's just how LeVar dressed!
Lookin cool
