What are your thoughts on Anne Hatheway's Selina Kyle?

Eh. I don’t have strong opinions? I don’t know why they chose Hathaway in the first place, but then when I saw the movie I didn’t dislike her. The costume was plain. I feel like she has a vaguely Julie Newmar look about her but to me she looks any other american girl dressing as a sexy cat for halloween. I also distinctly remember Anne had her hair cut short some time later for Les mis, and I was like !!! If she’s willing to cut her hair for roles, why could they not have had short haired anne for selina! But that was just a very small gripe lmao. Compared to Julie, Eartha Kitt and Michelle Pfieffer and she doesn’t compare, she’s low on my list of fave catwomans
