This quote has been spreading like wildfire through the fandom since the episode has aired. There is a lot of speculation of our Pearl originally belonging to White Pearl, or being gifted to PD from all the diamonds.

What I think Pearl meant by saying:

ᗩᑎᗪ i kᑎoᗯ iᗰ ᑎot yoᑌᖇᔕ

could be her saying to Rose that she’s supposed to be her own gem and that she shouldn’t follow the “a pearl serving diamond hierarchy,” but she still wants to be with Rose. She wants to please her and make her happy.

Since Pearl is still learning about her love for Rose, she’s still confused on the adoration she has for her and as the pearl/diamond relationship they’ve been made for.

Idk that’s just my thoughts (ಥ﹏ಥ)
