There’s a certain level of delusion about sports on every app and it’s interesting to me that different apps have different delusions. For example, Twitter wants us to go back to the old NWSL.

Oh nooooo how dare the players choose where they want to play.

Also, most of the players that were drafted were waived immediately or within the next year or two. Not many become mainstays in the league.

I am so so sad to be losing Lilly. She’s such a promising young defender. I feel like she probably wanted to be home in Boston.

Listen I love Sam Kerr, but how are we going to make it through this season without more defenders?? How are our forwards going to jell? What are they going to do at the end of the season when Rose & Sonnett are out of contract? There’s no way there’s money left.
