Hello! Me and my cat Captain really need some help! Captain's an old man having some dental issues, and needs more (if not all) of his teeth removed since the issue that we tried to fix before is back in full. He had 10 teeth removed the first time, but they're flaring up again and causing him some pain and a lot of discomfort, so he needs more help to get better. The vet bill is going to be costly for us, but any donation on my Ko-fi page over 15 USD will get a chibi/animal personal comm, and I'm running a sale over on my etsy page to help pay for his vet bill.

I'll be leaving this up to remember his journey later on, but the good news is that Captain won't have to go through the full teeth removal! The downside is that we'll be giving him steroids once a month to combat the issues instead. He's doing good now, he's begun treatment, and is feeling so much better already. As long as his quality of life is still good, this old boi will keep enjoying his sunny days out in the sunroom, and all the treats and (safe) human foods he desires.

Thank you to everyone who helped support me already, the funds went towards his vet visit today, but I'll be just fine covering the monthly expenses for his treatments 💚 We both appreciate all the love and care everyone showed, it really helped the bleak looking situation feel better, especially now after finding out some good news for once <3

We got another year of good times, and he learned that the stove cover was his favorite place to sit after a meal was cooked so he could sit in some warmth when our sunroom was closed at night. He got good food and even a good sunbathe in today before he went, but due to his dental issues and a newly discovered severe heart murmur, we knew it was time to let him go and sail on new adventures.

Forever thankful for the extra time I got with him and every snuggle and kiss was worth the pain we're in now without him. But he was the sweetest boy, and left purring and happy in the end. Always and forever happy to have known and loved him 💚
