i generally am not terribly into tianlang-jun or yue qingyuan being paired with anyone but their canonical or semi-canonical partners, but thats why its so perfect!!! the two svsss characters who end the story with the most lost-- both of their (arguable) soulmates/the people they love are dead (whether YQY knows this or not, he's def aware SQQ is lost to him). they both end SVSSS as such sad sacks! also chronic pain/chronic illness kings

and they have backstory! drama! YQY is the one who sealed TLJ under the mountain. TLJ is one of (if not the?) only people to have fought against Xuan Su and seen YQY at full power

also, I think that YQY's simultaneous soft-dom mommy and 'this guy needs to be topped to calm him down' vibes would really appeal to TLJ

I think Luo Binghe would turn into the world's #1 Mingling shipper the second he finds out that there's something going on there, for three reasons:

The literal most beautiful woman on Cang Qiong Mountain, whom Shizun keeps looking at approvingly and who also happens to look a lot like Liu Qingge (who Shizun thinks is pretty), would be off the market.

It'd get Sha Hualing to stop chasing after him, which would make her infinitely less annoying to work with.

It'd make Liu Qingge so mad he'd qi deviate.

Meet Master Shen's loyal and trustworthy Watchful Eye!!! Reliable as always, Liu-shidi 🙏

I had sm fun figuring out a design for Witch!LQG and went with something sort of prince/knight inspired, since he's always given me that vibe in canon. Also an excuse for me to indulge in liushen crumbs!!!

Him and his sister are from a very established witch family and lived in the Great Hall for some time, until he got sick of it and left to go adventuring. He signed up to be SQQ's watchful eye after learning that he suddenly wants to move his atelier outside of the great hall, thinking he's up to no good (LQG still believes SQQ is SJ at this point). Little does he know that the SQQ he now lives with acts so different from the one in his childhood and unexpectedly becomes fond of him (as all watchful eyes do with the masters they protect, anyways)

It took him a while to warm up to SQQ's apprentices, though him and Binghe do not get along at all (how dare he get so close with shizun). They often get into petty squabbles which end up with both of them getting scolded by SQQ 💔
