Not bc I'm a yumeshipper. No, that was never an issue.

I have a problem with the power dynamic and the suspected age gap.

Even though DC and CA are both adults, we know that DC was CA's teacher in martial arts/weapons. Usually, I think people start training in the art of movement when they are very young, so I would imagine DC was maybe 19 years old when training CA at 10-15 years old.

This suggests a very large age gap.

Even if it didn't, and they had a 1-3 year gap, it is still a teacher x student ship in my mind. And the power a teacher has over a student is very disturbing if they were to also engage on a romantic relationship, even years later.

This is my opinion, btw, one that I feel strongly about. Please do not attack me for this. If you have anything to add, or would like to point our an error in my logic, please share in an appropriate manner.

Rude and blunt f/o sighing dramatically before opening up their arms while rolling their eyes, letting you hug them. They tense up a bit before completely melting, after you pull away they act like nothing happened, even if their heart was pounding so hard you could feel it in your skin when you touched them.

they love your acne, they don't think it's gross. they love to kiss your cheeks until you're a flustered mess. f/o thinks it looks like glittering stars in the sky. if you're trying to get rid of it, f/o isn't afraid to help apply any creams or facewash you may need. you're just as stunning either way.

they love your stretch marks. they look like beautiful tiger stripes and look so good on you. f/o basically drools every time they see them. during cuddling or intimate time, you might find them ghosting they're fingertips (or other limbs close adjacent) across and tracing your stretch marks.

they love your body hair. whether excessive or lack thereof, f/o thinks you look absolutely stunning and shouldn't be ashamed of it. it's not gross if you don't shave, or can't even do it at all. however you look at the moment is the you they fell in love with.

they love your tummy/thighs. the softness is nothing to be ashamed of and they love to spoon you with one hand up under your shirt and the other squeezing your thigh. your like they're own little plushy. when you wear revealing clothing or your shirt/pants ride up, ohohoh buddy you better run. f/o needs to kiss those parts of you IMMEDIATELY.

they love your voice. no matter if its raspy, squeaky, quiet, loud, or have a speech impediment, they love to listen to your voice every day. they find it to be one of the most attractive things about you. f/o is patient with you if you have a stutter and understand when it's hard to get a word out.

they love your scars. if they're from sh, an abuser, or on accident, they love and cherish them anyway. they don't think you look mangled or messed up in any way. every single knick and scratch on you tells the story of your life that they could hear again and again. just like an antique object, every little detail is what makes you unique. you might even catch f/o kissing your scars subconsciously just so they can let you know how much they love you.
