tags from user bedridden-victorian-child: "#pray for me my good brethren, for i should have to affix TEN needles to my candle each night, each the size of my fourth finger #and place upon my little silver plate, lest i remain unaroused upon the morn 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 #oh, how i wish i could be awakened by simple means such as the cock's crow or mine mother's call! #but NAY, the lord has seen to burden me with the truest love of deepest sleep 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 #pray for me, i beseech thee, for i must away to an early appointment on the morrow 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭"
how do they have commas in the tags
Not to be a bitch but sometimes people engage with fiction in the most boring way possible, and nowhere is this clearer than in videogames. Like what you mean you hate a character just because they were kind of abrasive when speaking to the player character? "They were mean to me" and it didn't occur to you to wonder why? Like, what might their attitude toward you reveal about the world? About the social dynamics within it? About their own perspectives and backgrounds and personalities? Does it even occur you to ask? Would you only have liked them if they bowed to your presence and talked about how great you are? Like I'm sorry but you're so boring. How boring fiction would be if it cathered to you
Necessary and sufficient
Adding a second lock was not necessary.
Understanding the difference between necessary and sufficient is necessary, but not sufficient to earn a math degree.
these are gonna become a collection at this point
By the light of the moon. 🌕 postcard from my collection, mailed 1909.
Happy Moon Landing Eve! Remember to leave out milk and cookies for Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong, and don’t let Michael Collins convince you to prank NASA!
If Tumblr is still here next July 19th, I fully expect this post to obliterate my activity feed.
I’ve always made jokes about pluralising with ‘-im’ where it doesn’t belong, but nothing can actually match Israel itself.
See also: Chips (singular), Chipsim (plural), or brakes (singular, pronounced ‘brex’) and brakesim (plural).
Week and a half or so till I’m home, anyhow.
My favorite of these is that “sealed beam headlights” on cars are referred to as “haSealbeam”. What do you call a single sealed beam headlight, then? Why, “haSealb”, of course!
3 hours of sleep = i hate people who laugh

Being 30 is fun. I was discussing anime with a teen at work and asked her how much of bnha she had watched. She had trouble answering and wasn't sure how to approach it. I said "better question was who was your husbando" and she turned bright red before mumbling an answer. They never expect me to know how deep their love of anime boys runs....
One time she said she used to be into BL and another employee down the hall asked what BL was and I yelled back "ITS YAOI" which reduced the teen to yelling "ITS SOFTCORE! SOFT CORE!!" So I yelled back "ITS SOFTCORE YAOI" anyway I get why dads are like that now
why was messi lowkey serving saddam hussein hiding spot
Always assuming the mermaids know about us. What if they don’t huh. It’s not like they’re sending drones to explore the dry. Unless they are. Hi, welcome to my new conspiracy theory. The UFOs are from mermaids actually.
