I need to build a contraption that gets myself and at least 30 other people killed. My biological clock is ticking.
Black cilantro margaritas ladies!!!!
they should add green to the transgender pride flag to represent hustlers+money
another thing i really dont like about elden ring is the way they removed the ability to parry with your bare hand. sure i could just carry a parrying dagger or something and quickly switch to it in order to parry or whatever, but do you have any idea how fucking amazing it feels to be two handing a weapon and then suddenly just switch stance and deflect a giant sword with your left hand like its nothing. its like the coolest thing in the world
Spoiler warning for deltarune chapter 5:
Chapter 5 is fucking tragic. The fact it's supposed to be a "light hearted chapter" makes it even worse. Throughout it's entire duration it has this really nasty undercurrent that everything in this dark world will not be in castletown, will not be fine, and that this is the only time you will be interacting with the whole flower gang and then those characters will cease to exist in the world of Deltarune. And then the ending is especially bitter. When you Susie asked "Can you walk me home?" i legit went "oh, cool! Finally i get to some of Susie's home life. i really hope it's not too bad..." and then i was really confused, because they did not give you any instructions on where to walk. So you walk with her to various places and she just keeps going:
"not here."
All the way until you go TO THE FUCKING SCHOOL and my brain refused to make the connection up until we stopped in front of the closet. Goddamn. Deltarune ending will be so fucking sad.
Slightly less spoilers for deltarune ch5, but more so some personal thoughts on deltarune ending "soon":
The whole thing just reminded me about my own relationship with Deltarune. I have played chapter 1 on day 1, i bought Undertale almost on release. This franchise and especially Deltarune has been a part of almost my entire adult life. I have been waiting for play the entirety of Deltarune, a singular game by the way, for almost ten years now. I'm truly fond of all the characters, the narrative, the art, even the fact that Undertale has abysmal coding. Toby Fox has really shaped my humor, maybe even shaped me as a person in ways, i probably don't even realise. Most media could only dream of being that influential to a single person, let alone millions of people. Despite all dumb shit that happens in the UT/DR fandom, there's still a ton of cool theories, art and so much other stuff, because people love these games.
But Deltarune will be finished pretty soon. And then it really is time to move on. It's ultimately just a piece of media, don't get me wrong, but it will be a very strange feeling to suddenly realize, that there will no more Undertale. It's ultimately inconsequential to my life, since yeah, stories have to end at some point, but it's still weird to think about. There's like this very strange feeling when you are an adult and suddenly something that only happened in the background of your life just stops being the way it is one day. Something that you just took granted for years and years, and at some point you get the news that it has recently just stopped. You get this very weird moment of hyper awareness about time and the fleeting nature of things. I am having that moment right now and it's weird. Not only has Deltarune been an escapist comfort to me in some ways, the thought of the game being developed itself has comforting. The fact that there's more deltarune coming, has been true for a long time now, but that will change. It's somewhat parallel to Susie's story in a way, because at some point i will have to let go of that world, of these characters and just move on with my life. But i can still enjoy it while it is the way it is.

Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core asks a daring question with it's mechanics:
"Can Gamers overcome their inherent barbaric nature to suceed in actually cooperating with eachother and not have every game dumbed down to the point where you are barely interacting with anyone else?"
Also too, would be interesting to get an anthropology degree and write a paper on the weird cross pollination between alt righters and their love for vtubers. Like it’s just a microcosm of just, the modern day culture war where a lot of these dudes decry real women for “dressing like whores” and yet find themselves getting into a parasocial relationship with a talking anime girl that looks she was designed by a 14 year old boy.
anime subculture always had a massive right winger problem, the K-On pfp stereotype exists for a reason.
Still so surreal seeing streamers who specifically pander to these guys. Ranging from the ocassional transphobic remark to spouting white replacent shit through an anime girl avatar.
Pretty sure someone also has an uwu-fied nazi uniform avatar as well.
