The A-Side AU:

- A TNS season 4 rewrite (because it desperately needs one)

Just like in the actual show, after Internationals many members of the team have moved on from The Next Step, only leaving a select few of them still there.

Riley intended to also stay on A-Troupe, but when Kate came to her with the news that she was stepping down as Studio Head to become a judge on an upcoming dance show, she offered the position to Riley. After much deliberation and talks with her friends, she finally decided to take it.

The break before Regionals is almost over though, and Riley’s first task is deciding the new A-Troupe. Something that Michelle, Amanda and Noah are all ready to fight for their spot in.
