I've seen a lot of people say how theres either A LOT of codes and hidden meanings in this scene or absolutely NOTHING at all.
if we look at it as it is and don't take into consideration all the other deeper meanings, aziraphale's facial expression shows multiple mixtures of emotions, if you look at his eyes and eyebrows, it actually looks like embarrassment and shame, it's as if he doesn't really want to look at Crowley at the moment because he didn't immediately meet his eyes, he slowly turned his head, then his eyes.
if we look at what deeper meaning it could have, this definitely could be the "trust me" eyes or " why didn't you choose to follow me " kind of eyes of betrayal, or "I've made a huge mistake"
to be fair, from what we've been seeing this whole series, aziraphale is a very innocent character, so it's completely fine if he thinks that Crowley should've accepted his offer because it lines up with his character, whereas him actually being a super intelligent and smart angel that planned every single detail out isn't completely impossible to imagine as his character, but it seems less likely.
obviously people can argue and mention the scene where he managed to hide the photo of him at Crowley by doing one of his magic tricks where he amazingly executed the plan within seconds and it worked amazingly.
of course I'm not saying this assumption of "trust me" isn't wrong but the emotions that aziraphale showed in the last fifteen especially in the bookshop when Crowley kissed him was absolutely real to me, I don't think aziraphale would hide how he feels to Crowley let alone fake a whole argument and heart break. to me, aziraphale is a very straightforward person, he says what he thinks and he doesn't contain his excitement or feelings
he's not afraid to hurt Crowley's feelings and just expresses his emotions
