It was not on my list to find someone who knew about Ratigan, but I am not disappointed in the slightest! 🤩 That explains why some of the mannerisms you give Springtrap felt like dejavu.

Love that :D and yeah, even though I've actually had the literal VHS tape for the movie, I hadn't watched Great Mouse Detective until about a year ago, and honestly it just made me kind of sad that the film didn't do well bc it's fun and Ratigan 1000% deserves to be listed/remembered among the big-time animated villains. Like.

There's probably essays to be written on the fact that Fidget hangs out with mice because he has a "crippled wing" and can't fly. Like he's disabled by mouse standards (peg leg) but he's extra disabled by bat standards. On top of that he's a Foreigner (tm). His only friend feeds him to a cat on a whim.
