Dispatch de-aged Robert fic where he assumes the z team kidnapped him for leverage against his dad and goes absolutely feral trying to escape. I’m talking trying to scratch out eyes and bite throats levels of feral, smashing a pot of hot coffee into someone’s face levels of feral. What’s almost more concerning is the fact this child is like?? Actually a pretty good fighter??? Like why does this fetus have hella hands???

It’s only gets worse once they get him to calm down and believe they’re heroes too, he starts saying the most out of pocket shit way too calmly. Like maybe Chase is there so he feels safe and starts talking. Shit like, “oh yeah this is from hand to hand practice with my dad” *gestures to black eye* or, “of course I didn’t flinch when you burnt me by accident, I’ve been doing pain training to overcome that reaction for when I’m Mecha Man.” And Z Team is just sitting there internally screaming like what the fuck what the fuck.

Low key Robert was a child soldier in some respects and I feel like that’s an untapped well of angst.
