Vampires, for centuries, have been an ongoing threat towards the public. Their populations menace society, and their unsavoury lust for blood impacts the safety of local communities and wildlife.
To combat this issue, many individuals have sustained a living through the culling of vampires. These people are recognised as “vampire hunters” or more simply just— hunters.

VAMPIRES ⬩➤ pretty self explanatory, undead beings that subsist on blood. A person may only be transformed when they endure a non-fatal vampire bite.
VAMPIRE HUNTERS⬩➤ AKA just “hunters”, a renowned profession ( funded through the government or independently ) that strives to protect the public, via the extermination of vampires. They respond to public or private reports regarding vampire sightings, as well as investigating crimes concerning related matters. It is also their duty to record and keep track of all current vampires and their activity.
DIVISIONS ⬩➤ For lack of a better term, hunters are assigned into “divisions”. These are basically a hunters group they are delegated with, each hunter bringing their own respective skills to the table, and also serving specific roles such as a medic, deputy, or chief hunter. These divisions can be instructed to protect certain locations, or may journey together to investigate a report. Divisions can be as small as 2 people, any lower is considered an independent hunter.
