This is amazing, although I prefer to think it's Lir, but each to their own 🌬🌊/|\ #Repost @bbcnews・・・ This dramatic image was captured in the stormy seas of Newhaven Harbour in East Sussex, southern England. “Neptune seemed to make an appearance during this morning’s channel storm,” BBC photographer Jeff Overs said. His ‘sighting’ the face of Roman god of the water, Neptune seems to be an example of pareidolia. This is when people see a specific or meaningful image in an otherwise random or ambiguous visual pattern. Click the link in our bio to see other pictures from around the world. Playwright Nathaniel Lee, who was 'incarcerated' in Bedlam when it was in Moorfields in 1689 said, ”They called me mad, and I called them mad, and damn them, they outvoted me”. #quotesinhistory #bedlam #history #mentalhealththroughtheages https://www.instagram.com/p/CQcMjW1rlP_/?utm_medium=tumblr
So, I've planted 6 trees this month. 1 Oak, 2 Hazel, 1 Apple, 1 Pear & 1 Cherry. The rewards of life giving oxygen, fruit, nuts and a shady place to dream under when I retire make these the best investment ever. 🌬🌳 #replant #regenerate #treesarelife https://www.instagram.com/p/CQose0WLVID/?utm_medium=tumblr
Home /|\ Standing on the edge of the shore, I smell the crisp sea air. The tide is turning & begins to lap excitedly around my feet. Further up the beach of many pebbles, terns gather on the shoreline as if planning their day together. Giant Birch & Ash creak and swirl from the low cliff behind me as if calling back to the rolling tide, joining in song. Breathing deeply I embrace the chill in the air, the precious scent of the sea, & the comfort of nature's song. Raising my arms, I stretch my palms towards out great father Sun, welcoming him like a dear old friend. I close my eyes as I feel him gently warm the earth beneath my feet and I thank him for making me feel safe & full of health. Out towards the horizon, I see a land that I know but have never travelled to. One day, I promise myself. But for now, I am where I should be, now I am home, now I am dreaming, now I am peace. Yep, it really is a broken system. I dread to think of the enormous carbon footprint this little pot (which probably doesn't even contain a whole pear) has made. I am blessed to occasionally work in an old building which still has a large country/cottage garden. I spend as much time as possible when I'm there between a beautiful oak and cedar. The oak is often silent but the cedar always pours his soul to me through his vibrations. Does anyone else have a favourite spot in their working/routine life? ~RavenSong 🌬🌳 #blessed #worklifebalance #druidry #paganpath #paganism #trees #Awen #writersthoughts #spilledink https://www.instagram.com/p/CQ3lQPPLT5X/?utm_medium=tumblr
Reading about the children of Lir and now I can't sleep for thinking about their plight. Even deity are not free from heartbreak.

Shape shifting practice went a bit to well...
So my little partner in crime is bored from lack of spell work lately. He loves it when I'm working at my altar or mixing herbs. He has to check everything I do. 🐈⬛❤
This is my little haven at home. Everything here was either gifted to me, found, or hand made. My favourite finds were the hag stone which I found when I was struggling with life and the Irish coin which I found after planting an Oak sapling. The cut flowers were from very good friends for my 50th birthday. I prefer plants bit am extremely grateful for the thought. Most times I don't get outdoors as much as would like because of work and health, especially since the pandemic. I have spent much of my time working (in NHS Primary Care) and studying too. So this little spot in my room has got me through some tough times over the last 6 months since I began walking my new path. I have never felt better.
Does anyone else have a their own place of solitude when they can't get out into nature? 🌬🌳
