Learning to Code without AI: Day#3

It's taken me 3 days, but I've coded a very simple website. I did not realize how EASY it is to just. accidently leave puncuation somewhere dumb and have it break everything without a way to tell WHAT is broken or WHERE in the code to look. I'm doing things in smaller chunks in the future. I based this off my own notes from studying tarot, so the writing basically paste. But I have a basic website deployed via Github, and learned how to set up counters, how to add conditions (if over [NUMBER] then [NUMBER] type shit). Very proud of this, but I'm hoping I can refine it more when my brain isn't fried from 3 days straight on a website. I am also already reaching the point I can THINK in code, if that makes sense. it's starting to click with me. Here's my website so far: https://ravengif.github.io/ravens-tarot-reader/

learning to code WITHOUT AI: day #1(ish)

i'm a marketer that's seen too many projects break down at [UNDISCLOSED EMPLOYER] due to AI-generated code and it's pissing me off.

coding is something I've already wanted to get into, for ages. i tried learning GML and started a game project ages ago, but life got the better of me. I've recently picked this back up. i've also been learning a small amount of python to see if a desktop widget i'm imagining is even possible. but after seeing yet another issue arise at work due to ai-generated code, I'm going to do two things 1) ACTUALLY learn code, not just hyperfixate one day and forget about it for a month 2) do this without any AI-generated code. whatsoever i don't know a single software engineer / coder / tech person who isn't using AI instead of picking up new skills. so I, as a marketer, am fueled with about determination and spite to surpass them without it. or just make cool projects along the way (the more accurate outcome)
