I've already posted about my mental headcannom of Danila and Travis being friends, but I saw Cairo Station some weeks ago and actually I think Qinawi would be their friend too.

However, I don't think he would be part of the household with Travis, Danila and Rodya being surrogate uncles to Shinji. Might need to marinate in my brain a bit longer to decide this.

Idon't know if this is an unpopular opinion, but I'm not the biggest fan of Star Rail's PoV shift thing. Sometimes it's fine for grander things like Aventurine having his whole arc, and I guess it kinda makes sense in Penacony since it has the whole multi factor conspiracy thing, but having to constantly shift PoV because the game wants to show you a random character walking around and talking to random people for five minutes before switching PoV again just bogs down the story for me. We already have a perfectly good player insert, it feels really unnecessary to sudenly forcing you to leave that PoV so much only when you reach Penacony.

I honestly hope they chill out with the PoV shifts in the next Xianzhou reagion, but this seems to be technically good gimicky way to make people care about the gacha characters they're selling, so my hopes aren't up.

The Bride of Deimos OVA is so funny because you read the synopsis and it's supposed to be about this god/demon? guy Deimos stalking a random average high school girl because she is so beautiful and he needs to find a body for his god girlfriend who is imprisioned somewhere and needs a new body because hers is rotting.

And then you watch the OVA and it's just some random murder mystery thing about some duo of siblings killing people for their flower business. The guy that has his name on the title appears like three times. He just tells the girl that the siblings are sus and then disappears. The murders themselves aren't even supernatural. They just kill people with arrows or something and then throw them in an incenerator.

It was fine tho 👍. Perfectly fine shoujo murder mystery. And IIRC the art was very pretty.

Movie take: tbh Fight Club's social commentary got kinda lost on me when apparantly every single man on the planet was 100% on board with doing every single thing Tyler told them to because at that point it feels less like "oh my sigma we literally live in a society so true" and more like flat out cosmic horror
